The Pastor, commonly also reffered to as Pastor Ferdinand or "Fritz von Liebitz", This not being his actual name, was the fifth owner of Whenthe, taking the ownership permissions from Thee_realist on the 10th of April 2021.
Origins[edit | edit source]
As stated by The Pastor in his infamous owner change post, when he first joined Whenthe during its infancy somewhere in 2019, he was bullied for having a Doge profile picture, him stating that he was "An absolute fool", though he would slowly find support and trust over the months and gain some form of status within the community.
Ownership Change, The Pastorarchy[edit | edit source]
On the 10th of April, 2021 The Pastor would be given ownership permissions from the already server sickened Thee_realist, they would state that they were not happy with how they generally handled the server and wished to be a better owner, and that Pastor would probably end up being a better leader than them. Pastor would never actually expect becoming owner of the server, until eventually hearing that most, if not the entirety of the staff team supported this change. He would end his message with "Welcome to the Pastorarchy". Finally becoming the owner of the server and leading it for a long time, Pastor would be accepted somewhat well into the community as the new owner, many describing that he was one of few that actually cared much about the status of the server, and its continous future and existence, his reign is often symbolized as the "Golden Ages of Whenthe", in that the server was especially active and stable during that time.
The Grooming Allegations[edit | edit source]
Eventually this "Golden Age" would have to stop. On the 17th of July, a mini nuke was attempted by users Zarney and Woozy, who were promptly demoted by Pastor. A leaked dm log of Pastor and a 14 year old, which consists of Pastor and the 14 yo discussing the morality of a relationship between them started being shared around, Pastor being 17 at the time the conversation took place. As Pastor claims, this person came into their life after a break up when Pastor was at a vulnerable point, and the conversation was all that ever came out of the relationship. Pastor went on to temporarily step down citing that their mental health had taken a major decline, while continuing to argue for their innocence. Very soon after this, the new mods would be announced followed by the threat of the server being deleted by discord once again. All of this obviously prompted what can most accurately be described as a "complete shitstorm", and destabilized the server severely. Not to mention the nuke plan incident involving Taylor which happened around this point. Sometime during the temporary stay in the whentwo backup server, Pastor went on to announce their resignation and leave the server, permanently handing ownership over to Steely, starting the "Steelyarchy" once and for all.
The events of The July 2022 Crisis and Sunday Nuke, Pastor's leave and The Report Crisis had a severe impact on the server, with the first months after the nuke being perhaps the worst and most inactive times, with messages per day going below Funny Omega numbers too, though as of now this has somewhat improved and the server is in a much better state.
Fake Allegations[edit | edit source]
A few months before this The Pastor would expose a lot of Furry Irony's users for things such as pedophilia, aswell as zoophilia, the above conversations were supposedly faked by Systroph, unfortunately enough for Fritz, people took this seriously without much thinking, and this played right into the hands of the exposed members.
Pastor's Religiousity[edit | edit source]
As stated by Fritz in one of his messages, his religiosity would all begin on Google+, when he would run a "Bread Cult" for a relatively short time, he would rename himself to "Pastor Ferdinand" on the website after he became coincidentally religious. This would also lead up to the creation of the #religion channel in Whenthe.
Pastor's Fursona[edit | edit source]
In one of Whenthe's many QOTD's Pastor would also send the origins of his "Fursona", as he himself was a furry.

Post Crisis[edit | edit source]
It seems as after the events of the July 2022 Crisis, Pastor has effectively disappeared off the internet. He appears to have either taken a different name or stopped using the internet altogether. He has deleted all of his social medias, such as his Twitter, YouTube and also Discord account. Whether Pastor truly committed something evil is up to debate by many users, but many did find it taboo. It is somewhat unfortunate that he was forced to leave something that he truly cared about, but some say that he did get what he really deserved.

- Pastor was the first furry to ever be an owner of a big Irony Server.
- Pastor had owned a somewhat small irony server titled "Furry Irony" when he also owned Whenthe, Furry Irony was known for housing many somewhat infamous members of The Irony Hemisphere.
- There is a modchat channel titled "Pastor Butt Pics"
