The server was made to escape the mod corruption of [[OkBuddyRetard]] 3 and to instead make a more community-run server, although the mods ironically long abandoned this ideal.

Irony Hub was created by Dkaih35 on May 14, 2020, and was opened to the public on May 26, the day after the death of George Floyd. The server was made to escape the mod corruption of OkBuddyRetard 3 and to instead make a more community-run server, although the mods ironically long abandoned this ideal.
