Scottcord (known as Scottland until 2023) is an irony server, although it hardly has any connection to similar servers.

Founding[edit | edit source]
On July 10, 2020 (July 9 in the Americas), the server was created by Phobos, the owner of a parody Twitter account of Scott Cawton with over 42,000 followers as of May 2023. Despite the Twitter account going inactive in February 2021 along with Phobos' Discord account the following month, the server has remained active and continues to grow to this day.
For some reason Scottland really hated Irony Hub, and it was possibly mutual.
Timeline of Events[edit | edit source]
9/26/2020 - Ban of 26[edit | edit source]
Cursed, also known as Scott (The owner of the server) would begin bypassing her own rules, and abusing her power, things would go in a terrifying wrong turn during the day of the ban of 26, one of the most significant days of the server's history. Scott would demote a known administrator, known as King from their position for "having different opinions from her" and, "nothing more". This would not be taken lightly by the already somewhat annoyed users from Cursed's past actions, this would begin an event which could be described as a "Civil War", somewhat similar to the events of the Dogelore Civil War. Users would begin protesting the owner's actions, demanding that King be given their permissions back, a lot of the innocent users would be banned by Cursed for absolutely no reason, some of these members were even staff. Supposedly the list of banned members included Shrimpy, lev, ug, nanda, but also countless many. Cursed would also perma mute Wack and Corbs for "spying" for an alternative server called Scottcord Shady, supposedly a temporary bunker server made to conflict Cursed's actions. After around two days of the server being in a chaotic state, a group of members agreed to try to take down Cursed's ownership permissions down. This would succed and she would be demoted and leave the server.
11/03/2020 - Discovery and Ownership Change[edit | edit source]
Scottcord would join the discovery program, opening their doors to many new members, ownership permissions would also be passed over to Damn u lookin fine af
11/21/2020 - Circlejerk Twitter Account[edit | edit source]
The admins would create a twitter circlejerk account known as @ScottlandOOC, the basic premise of this account was to post out of context discord screenshots which made the users look incredibly bad, or stupid out of context. The twitter account would go inactive in early 2022 for good though.
4/7/2021 - Failed FNF Mod[edit | edit source]
A Friday Night Funkin mod would be announced, it would be about "Scottland". As funny as this idea may seem, it is the second ever FNF mod that was actually planned to exist made by Irony Server users. The only successful one being the FNF Dogelore mod, though this mod would not actually be about the discord server's users, it would be actually about dogelore characters!
5/3/2021 - Renovations and New Terrible Name[edit | edit source]
The server would be temporarily locked down for "renovations", these renovations would include new channels and a terrible new name ((RetroZone)) this is actually the worst name ever it's so fucking generic oh my god. This name would be reverted back to Scottland after a while though.
5/29/2021 - Scottland OC Contest[edit | edit source]
A long forgotten contest about an OC for Scottland would be held, the event would end on the 6th of January 2021 and the winner of this contest would be a user called Nago who designed an OC known as "Scottina"
8/20/2021 - Nuke Troll[edit | edit source]
A funny prank would happen involving tricking everyone but the administrators ((Who Planned This Prank)) of the server into thinking that the server would be nuked in three days, the prank would go out of hand and several everyone pings would happen with one of the trial staff members also leaving the server, the prank would be cancelled shortly due to reprecussions
9/20/2021 - Ownership Change #2[edit | edit source]
Eve would become the new owner of the server after countless months of only being a Co-Owner.
10/18/2022 - First Election Event[edit | edit source]
The staff members decided to get together and plan an event every 3 months. thus, the idea of an "election event" was born. the very first parties in the election consisted of the Mineral party (ran by Sand#2560), the Aubrey's party (ran by gameralert#6636 and banned member kuro.mp4#3515) and finally the Sillies party (ran by Soft And Willow #3176 and zmz#8344). the aubrey's party won the election and they held 3 more elections after that
12/28/2022 - Christmas Tree Event[edit | edit source]
One of maany seasonal events, the idea was originally suggested and organized by a user known as Tip on a now deleted account, the users could submit their decorations that would be put on a christmas tree.
2/14/2023 - Valentine's day Event[edit | edit source]
For valentine's day, scottland moderator TotallyNotBasil#1987 suggested the idea of a contest for the best valentine's day cards. the event was then approved and organized by the admins. there were a total of two rounds of voting using an upvote reaction. in the end a card of joe biden quoting "you will die in three days" (made by Geń̕͠tlendy̴͒̈́#4502) won the vote and thereby won the valentine's day contest.
4/8/2023 - Easter event[edit | edit source]
For Easter, Scottland moderator Oxidane#8619 brought up the idea of having an art contest for Easter eggs to commemorate the day. The staff members all agreed to host the event. in the end, ★Soft Anne Wet★#1987 made an Easter egg that ultimately won the vote. the Easter egg was about an inside joke in the server so it automatically won the favor of the active members (It was Layton T. Montgomery showing his ass in the Bee Movie).
Bonersquad[edit | edit source]
Bonersquad was a group chat that was created on September 1st, 2022, and has caused drama countless times, mostly aimed at the owner and staff of Scottland. The first instance of drama was against a former staff member for her behavior and how she acted. More drama was created because of the group chat, and because of this, the majority of the members have been banned, including the current owner of the group chat. Most of the drama was created because of rivalries between staff or regular members of the server. The group chat has overall had a negative impact on the server and members.
