Lemonade1947 currently co-owns the r/OkBuddyRetard subreddit along with GrantVsZombies. While he is a member of the OkBuddyRetard discord server, and has moderation privileges, he is not active there.

Lemonade1947 applied to be a moderator of the subreddit on 06/09/2018[1]
His application was accepted, and he became a moderator a little while later. He has been involved with the subreddit ever since.
Drama with Kirbizia[edit | edit source]
Lemonade1947 credits himself with much of the early development of okbr, although these claims are disputed by Kirbizia.
He claims that he...
- Formalised the rules of the subreddit, claiming that he created the first ever rule post
- Formalised the process by which the mods would vote to ban memes from the subreddit.
- Formalised the process by which it would be decided which memes to ban. This was later publicly outlined here in this r/okmetaretard post, and the comments below it.
- Created OkBuddyRetards strict rules on posts about politics and soapboxing, which he goes into more detail about in this okbr mod sticky
The general drama that happened involving Kirbizia's involvement in okbr is mostly recounted on GrantVsZombies's wiki page, as he was the current owner of the subreddit at the time. However it is worth noting that Lemonade adds the following claims:
He is unable to substantiate these, however, claiming that this is because the original OkBuddyRetard admin server was deleted.
- Kirbizia was jealous that Lemonade's changes to the subreddit had been received more positively than hers.
- Lemonade claims that Kirbizia would approve his changes, forget that she had done so, then get mad at him for making them
- Lemonade recounts that Kirbizia never wanted to ban memes, other than the Thanos Car meme.
- Lemonade claims that Kirbizia posted self-harm imagery in the OKBR admin discord server at times that she did not agree with him. She claims that he forced her to ban memes, and the backlash caused her to self harm.
- Lemonade claims that, following this, he convinced her to take a break from reddit.
None of these claims can be substantiated, so you will have to make up your own mind.
Golden Age of /r/OkBuddyRetard[edit | edit source]
After Kirbizia stepped down, Lemonade continued to run the subreddit with a few other mods. With the exception of Grant himself, Lemonade is the only remaining active mod from this time period.
Lemonade continued to orchestrate the banning of memes and meme formats, claiming in his own words that it "forced innovation and allowed newly created memes to proliferate out into the wider web once they'd been banned from okbr".
Current day /r/OkBuddyRetard[edit | edit source]
Having recruited many jannies and moderators during his time actively moderating the sub, Lemonade now mostly takes a backseat role. He is rarely seen making announcements or mod comments, but still removes rule breaking posts when he sees them.
Lemonade is still active in the OkBuddyRetard discord server, and any large subreddit changes or announcements have to be approved by him. He has stated that he "very rarely" overrules any choices that the jannies make, usually allowing them to do as they please, sometimes with minor alterations.
Promotion to co-owner[edit | edit source]
Lemonade had been GrantVsZombies's second in command for about a year before, in late 2019, Lemonade was given the title of co-owner.
His role in managing the server did not change, the only difference being that he no longer had to go to Grant with big subreddit changes, and the two would simply advise each other as equals.
