Theno Empire
Although almost entirely disconnected from irony server history, the Theno Empire is EXTREMELY important as it was one of the crucial servers that led to the creation of what is mostly regarded as the greatest irony server to ever touch Discord, The Federal Troll Agency.

ROK (September 20th, 2018 - June 21st, 2019)[edit | edit source]
On September 20th, 2018 Rise of Kingdoms released on the app store. Arealstali was an avid player and introduced her friend Theno to the game. In turn Theno would introduce his many friends to the game such as King Cokc and Labyrinth. They would troll on the game and have a a lot of fun doing it. Theno isn't very active for now since he had school but made sure to get on the game every now and then since he did find it to be a lot of fun. Theno and his friends would hijack other people's clans in the game and ruin them. Theno continued to get more and more popular in the game which led to him becoming quite hated. However, although most players hated him, he did gain some followers who also had fun trolling other players.
They make many enimies such as Don Peppa and Orby who challenge Theno and his circle but Theno ended up prevailing. They ruled over Rise of Kingdoms until someone named King Kinetics introduced Theno and his friends to the idea of trolling on Discord. Theno made his first server named "thenopolis" which only lasted around 10 days. One of the most important members active during this time is Markarus. Markarus would be ridiculed for his absurd sense of humor by future members and many would question whether or not he was a real person. The server was very active for about 4 of the 10 days it existed since Markarus attracted a lot of people to the server due to his very edgy personality.
The Rise of The Theno Empire (June 21st, 2019 - May 18th, 2020)[edit | edit source]
The Theno Empire is officialy created on June 21st, 2019. Theno gets the server partnered with a server called "bleed." where a lot of original members such as Coach g would join from. Some mentionable events take place such as a Russian cyber attack where supposedly somewhere around 100 russians joined and raided the server. SAN, a school friend of Theno, also joines around this time. He becomes very hated by prominent members such as King Cokc and Markarus. SAN woukd get co-owner which causes a lot of backlash since many believed he abused his powers far too much. He would do some things that many found questionable and down right wrong such as doxxing innocent people which would lead to him getting demoted. SAN wouldn't be very prominent around this time but would go on to become one of the most infamous and feared members in the later Gondal servers. Another prominent member that joined was M.Salman who was around 20 which led to him being bullied quite a bit.
A main way the Theno Empire grew was with the use of raids. They would often raid random servers either for fun or with the intention to recruit new members to the Theno Empire. However, one of these raids would be more important than any other one they had conducted before.
One day during early 2020, (presumeably late February or early March) Theno and his followers entered Wry's original server before creating the FTA known as Obama’s Playhouse. Theno expected this raid to go on like any other but was suprised to find out that Wry found the raid just as funny as they did. Wry actually ended up giving them admin so they could raid even harder. Seeing they had a similar sense of humor, Theno decided that it would be wiser for them to become allies instead. Together, the two servers would grow faster than ever before. Everything seems to be working out perfectly from Theno's point of view. However, horrible, unspeakable things were happening in Obama's Playhouse. When Theno and his crew entered Obama’s Playhouse they were liked by almost no one except for Wry. A user named Pickled in particular was very irritated with these new members which led to him making it his life goal to destroy the Theno Empire. He first gained Theno’s trust by nuking Obama’s Playhouse, his own home. When Pickled received admin in the Theno Empire he would nuke it far worse than Xi did. When Theno saw this he ordered the people he controlled who had power in Obama’s Playhouse to ban everyone from the server. He also attacked Wry’s YouTube channel by mass disliking all his videos. Eventually each side would forgive each other and all would return to normal. Obama’s Playhouse was rebuilt with the help of Gabecord. It was renamed to Obama’s Schoolhouse. Together, Wry and Gabecord reimagined the server and made it quite active before it was replaced by the Federal Troll Agency. Around this time the Theno Empire would also become a very well organized server in terms of positions of power. There were proper elections held for who should be promoted or even demoted in some cases. This led to many debates going on in both staff channels and in public.
Many Obama's Playhouse members would migrate to the Theno Empire. Xi was one of this migrants who managed to become an admin in the server. He took his position very seriously and even wrote a constitution for the server. The first ever race for vice dictator takes place and a very liked member named Johnny wins by a landslide. Xi also ran and upon losing, he nuked the server. The damage caused by his nuke was very minimal and was reverted quickly. An infamous court case is held for Xi but due to his unpopularity, he was never allowed in a position of power again. Here, Markarus would gain one of his biggest haters in the form of Fold who stood his ground against Markarus quite well which is something not many could do. When the event was over an after party was hosted in a new server named BTS. The server only lasted for a day but was extremely active for the time it lasted. The VC hosted in BTS was especially crazy with pretty much all the most influential members of the time in there with multiple new members who added some spice to the VC.
Theno would have an alt account named Doctor j that wouldn't be revealed to be an alt until The Gondal Empire. For about 8 months no one except for his real life friends knew that they were the same person. Theno used this account to say things that would be out of character for him to say normally as well as just to simply mess with people. With this account he created a server called "Make Amurica Great Again" which would later be turned into Old York Sex City. In this server there would be many intense dramas such as when a user named Mike Pence became owner for a little bit which started one of the biggest revolutions in documented history. This would happen again during the The TOG Union.
On May 18th, 2020, a user named Prekkis would make a server of his own and invite members from the Theno Empire to it. The server would only last for about a day but the impact it left behind would change the lives of thousands. Prekkis would host an election to see who would be the first president of the server where Wry and Mamba would run together. They ended up losing the election which led to them making a server of their own. They called it The Federal Troll Agency. It quickly grew to be comparible to the Theno Empire in member count which at the time was around 300 members.
The Fall of The Theno Empire (May 18th, 2020 - August 19th, 2020)[edit | edit source]
As the FTA grew more popular, so did the Theno Empire. The server managed to cultivate a unique community with a wide variaty of characters. One of the most feared members of the time was Gordan Ramsay. He took much inspiration from characters such as the Joker. He threatened to nuke both the FTA and the Theno Empire. The FTA took this threat quite seriously and even shut down and demoted all of its admins as a precautionary measure. Gordan also faked a Markarus account to harass users which was a very looked down upon practice. For context, Markarus had been gone for a long time by now but his followers continued to be him to continue his ideology. Another important member was MosinSniper who was and still is a gun and politics fanatic. He later became an active member of AliAlexRg's server which he would eventually leave. He is now not very active but still makes appearences now and then.
One of the biggest inside jokes to come out of this era was the "Theno Server VC Event". This was supposed to be a massive event where many people would come together to talk and play games. Many found the idea ridiculous and quite funny. Theno was bullied quite heavily for this idea, especially by people who already didn't like him.
Although elections have been going on for quite some time now, never before had people been able to take Theno's place as owner of the server. Theno quit Discord and would only return when it was time for a new member to be elected as owner. The first owner elected was Mamba who was a pretty good owner but by the end of his run the server slowly started to become less active. The next owner was Johnny who was a fan favorite member who also turned out to be a pretty good owner.
The next and final owner of the Theno Empire was Doctor j, Theno's alt. Even though they were the same person and Theno was well liked for the most part, Doctor j was despised by almost everyone in the server. When he took the place of owner riots begain to break out throughout the server. This led to Johnny enlisting the help of one of the first person experienced with automated nuking named Karineko. Together they nuked the server completely as well as making hundreds of nonsense channels and roles in mere seconds. The server managed to recover but it was obvious that it wouldn't last for much longer.
Doctor j renovates his Make Amurica Great Again server into Old York Sex City. Even though he was still disliked, many Theno Empire members were desperate for a new server to talk in. Doctor j slowly starts to win over the community and eventually becomes just as liked as Theno was. He managed to keep both servers atleast semi active but soon enough Old York Sex City was far more active than the Theno Empire. One day while in VC in Old York, Lul and Wry decide to nuke the Theno Empire and no one makes any attempt to save it since they had all moved on to Old York.
