OKPJ (OkPrietenJucător, meaning OkBuddyGamer) is an OKPR community server originally founded by Gangster96.
Inception[edit | edit source]
Some time after the creation of bets in OKPR, the fourth bet was hosted, which comprised of a 30.000 XP reward for the winning team, and, for losers, a timeout of 120 hours (5 days). Many people picked the white team, which ended up losing. Thus, due to their timeouts, 22 members[1] were forbidden from sending any messages on any channel for 5 days. But this didn't stop them from continuing their conversations with the community - they simply switched to OKPJ and continued talking there for the duration of the timeout, reaching higher activity than the main OKPR server. This led to Zyptar hosting a modded Minecraft server.
At around the time of the bet mentioned above, the server was an exact copy of the then current version of OKPR v2. This wasn't the case anymore after the original founder Gangster96 has given ownership of the server to fledg, though, as channels were being added and removed by community request in the suggestions (sugestii) channel.
