DISCORD!

DOGESTORY is currently an in-works game based on the many characters of r/Dogelore, (The Subreddit), these characters include for example Perro, but in a humanized non furry way.

DOGESTORY's Cast

DOGESTORY, or now TRUESTORY would begin it's development in late 2020 by Odie, a former regular of the Dogelore discord server. It was initially a visual novel which as said before humanified some of the popular dogelore characters, Odie would advertise his game on the r/humanlore and r/dogelore subreddits, as well as creating a @doge.story account on Instagram, in september of 2021, a demo version of the visual novel would be released on itch.io, a popular website where you can upload and play games. There would be a pinned message on the dogelore subreddit advertising the new game, the visual novel does not have anything related to romance or love, it is instead a recount of a journey of a group of teenagers travelling from New York City to Arkansas (Before this was El Paso), in order to kill an unknown person sending bombs to a mafia. Along the way, they are faced with the mundane struggle of road trips and "rather silly situations"

Rebranding[edit | edit source]

The game would be rebranded by Odie to be less related to Dogelore, instead it would now be called "TRUESTORY", with the same but renamed characters.
