BuddyCraft is the official Minecraft server of OkBuddyRetard 5, and is also partnered with Whenthe. It is the successor to the previous season of BuddyCraft, which existed for more than two years. It is owned and hosted by Saucy and can be reached by the IP address mc.irony.wiki. Though the server is native to Minecraft: Java Edition, Bedrock Edition players can also connect to it (via port 19132) since the server has the GeyserMC compatibility plugin.

Rules

The server's rules are identical to the previous season:

1. No hacking or cheating.
2. No griefing. In other words, do not steal, destroy, or vandalize other people's stuff without their consent.
3. No PvP without the consent of person you're fighting.
4. Generally, just don't make the server an unpleasant place to be.

Commands

The following text commands are available for all players:

Command	Action
/back	Returns you back to where you were before your last teleport.
/co inspect	Toggles the CoreProtect inspector. Left clicking on a block will tell you who has placed blocks at that location, and right clicking will tell you who removed or interacted with blocks at that location.
/discord	Displays an invite link to the OkBuddyRetard 5 Discord server.
/home	Teleports you to the location you used /sethome at. If there is no such location, it teleports you to your spawn point.
/plugins	Displays the plugins currently active in the server.
/seed	Displays the world seed.
/sethome	Sets the location that /home will teleport you to.
/tpa	Requests to teleport to someone. If they accept the request, you will be teleported to them.
/tpaccept	Accepts a teleport request.
/tpdeny	Denies a teleport request.
/tpahere	Requests that someone teleports to you. If they accept the request, they will be teleported to you.

History

The previous season of BuddyCraft closed on July 8, 2025, following a long period of inactivity, an inability to update to the latest version due to plugin compatibility, and more than two years of existence. A world reset was seen as a way to revitalize the server and increase activity. Season 6 opened a month later on August 7, 2025. Initial activity levels were relatively low, but increased somewhat over the following weeks as the server was promoted in Whenthe. BuddyCraft and Whenthe officially partnered on August 17.

As of September 8th, the player count was averaging 5-6 players per day. Sudrex became a dirty creaker worshipper for some reason, alluding to some "Great Work" or some other such homosexual nonsense. The members of the former FungFed became anti-fungus, and began converting naturally generated mushroom islands into normal forests and plains. SimplyFwox went on a killing spree, setting an ultimatum for player Joe_Mama that if he did not, "become stronger," and face her in combat, she would kill Joe_Mama's horse Gold Ship. Joe_Mama instead killed Gold Ship himself, much to the alarm of anyone with a frontal lobe.
