General History

Little is known about Wry before his rise to Discord stardom. Wry has always been particularly hesitant to speak on his personal life. However, he has been stated as saying that, ever since a child, he had been "destined for moderation greatness".

Wry began his Discord adventure with his first server, Obama's Playhouse, created on January 23rd, 2019. Here he met many of his first Discord friends, including Peely. This server was largely unimportant with the exception of one major event. Around February 2020, Doctor Theno joined the server and a partnership between Obama's Playhouse and the Theno Empire was formed. This greatly increased the membership and activity in both servers and eventually led to the creation of Wry and Mamba's new server, the Federal Troll Agency (or the FTA for short). There Wry met Bangshakalaka who introduced him to the existence of irony servers and more specifically, the third OKBR server.

Over the next 13 months, the FTA grew to over 6,000 members. However, after a falling out with Theno and his community, a rivalry was sparked between the FTA and the "Gondals" (the name given to followers of Theno and members of The Gondal Empire and subsequent Gondal servers). This led to many raids, nukes, and the eventual decimation of the FTA by hand of the Gondals on June 11th, 2021. Shortly before the fall of the FTA, Wry created Kek Zone with the help of Moe Lester. This server quickly grew to over 1000 members but was eventually abandoned after being mass reported by FTA sympathizers. After the fall of Kek Zone, Wry reached out to WigWav and Theno, who's respective servers, China and Gondal, were facing increasing levels of inactivity. Wry discussed the idea of forming a joint server and abandoning their old ones to form one massive server. Theno rejected the idea but WigWav was eventually persuaded. Together Wry and WigWav built the "Greatest Server Ever Made". Wry eventually betrayed WigWav and deemed himself the only owner of GSEM. The server remained quite active for the remainder of 2021 but slowly became inactive during 2022. GSEM was finally destroyed by Wry himself on April 30th, 2022.

Wry experienced his first failure in owning a server with the creation of FTA Records. The server saw nearly no activity and was abandoned on June 28th, 2022. Wry would then abstain from creating any servers until the creation of the FTA's official sequal on November 11th, 2022. During his haitus, Wry was co-owner in Zokluke's successful "The Poop Galaxy" server. Once Wry deemed it was time to bless Discord with one of his servers again, he created a second FTA and left no stone unturned to ensure its success. The server was ruthlessly advertised in Awesome Planet and other related communities. The server lasted nearly a year before being deleted on October 24th, 2023. Thus making it Wry's second longest lasting server, only under the original FTA.

Road to Discord Infamy

The irony community's initial introduction to Wry was seeing him as owner and later co-owner of the Federal Troll Agency. Bangshakalaka invited many of his friends from OKBR3 to the server and they all saw him as a young, ambitious Discord entrepreneur. Wry made sure to make a good first impression with the irony community by showing off his collection of jokes and by joining multiple voice chats with them. However, his pre-pubescent voice matched with his little knowledge of the ways of irony made for a terrible first impression. The OKBR3 members, many of which already being college-going taxpayers, saw him as just another corny kid unfit for the perils of moderating. Some were sympathetic, but still shared the same general views. Pikeman claimed, "The poor bastard'l [Wry] never make it... this cold world is gonna chew him up and spit him right out".

After this initial failure with setting up connections with the irony community, Wry backed down. He transferred ownership of the FTA to Mamba on June 28th, 2020 and only lurked in the background as a watchful eye over what was formerly his server. However, his efforts weren't entirely in vain. During his short time as owner of the FTA, Wry became quite good friends with Bangshakalaka and the two remained as such over the course of the entirety of the the FTA's life. Bang managed to lift Wry out of this depressive moderating slump and convinced him to join the newly established Irony Hub. Many Irony Hub members ended up joining the FTA. Weezor and Moe Lester in particular took a liking to Wry, who by know had had sufficient time to learn about the culture and humor of irony. This was partly in thanks to how Wry would unmute, uncontain, unban, or otherwise rid Irony Hub admins of their punishments in the FTA after their continual raids against the server. For context, Bangshakalaka had always been disliked in the irony community and, with Bang being the only person known to Irony Hub at the time, they viewed it as his server.

With new ties with the administation team in Irony Hub, Wry felt as if he was finally gaining some recognition. Wry was even rewarded Edgelord in Irony Hub, despite having only around 100 messages at the time. The FTA continued to gain members from Irony Hub and other irony servers and was starting to be seen as an irony server itself. Eventually, during some point in early 2021, Diogo decided it was only right to invite the FTA into the League of Moderation, the officially recognized coalition of irony Discord servers. At the time, the League consisted of Irony Hub, OkBuddyRetard 4, Whenthe, Dogelore, and a few others. With the FTA now part of the league, it was hard for anyone to deny the server's place as a major Discord metropolis. However, it was still apparent that the FTA differed from the other servers in the league quite drastically since admins of the FTA seemed not to care if order was maintained in their server. This was in stark contrast to the other major irony servers as they all did all it took to keep peace within their realms. This is perhaps best illustrated by the FTA administation team's heavy belief in the philosophy of quantity over quality. Wry and Bangshakalaka in particular seemed to purposefully encourage chaos in the server. All of this would eventually lead to the FTA's removal from the League of Moderation. Wry continued to increase in popularity and recieved a massive moment of spotlight during the fall of the FTA on June 11th, 2021, which he was in part responsible for.

During mid 2021, Wry would reach his peak of Discord fame. With the creation of his new server, Kek Zone
