This article documents the role structure of Irony Hub.

Role structure

Abusing almost any role will get you demoted from it.

Moderator roles

• Fascist Dictator: The owner of the server (Only Weezor has this role)
• Admin: Have all permissions. As well as having the duties of a mod, they are in charge of major server changes and keeping mods in check.
• Mod: In charge of keeping chat safe and fun, mostly by removing rule-breaking content and punishing people who break rules. Not as powerful as admins, but should be the first people to talk to if you have a problem.
• Trial Mod: When mods get appointed for the first time, they will be given Trial Mod. They are not as powerful as regular mods. If they do their job well, they will be promoted to regular mod.
• Advisor: An advisor's job is to bring the voice of the community to the mod team. They have access to most mod channels and can advise mods about decisions based on community feedback. They are more likely to be promoted to mod in the future.

Activity roles

Roles gained by normal users of the server. The more active and trusted a user is, the more of these roles they will get. Users with higher roles will also keep their lower roles, e.g. Trollsome roles will still have Trolling and Trolled roles.

• Trollsome: The highest role achievable by most users. You get this role by being a generally good and active user for a while and having at least 3 mods agree to give you it. Grants access to vanity roles.
• Trolling: (color #ffcb5c) Generally good and trusted members of the community for the most part. Grants access to the #petitions and #meta-talk channels. You get this role by being active for a few days.
• Trolled: (color #0099ff) New users. Grants access to the #casual channel. If you positively contribute to the chat, you will get this role pretty quickly.

Special roles

• Artist🎨: (color #31993f) You get this role if you are an artist or post talented original art in the #projects channel.
• fnaf lore keeper: (color #eb2f3b) You get this after doing something cool for the server. Grants posting permissions to the #brothel channel.
• DJ: Gives extra permissions over the Rythm music bots.
• robbed and raped: (color #f47fff) You get this by Nitro boosting the server. Grants access to vanity roles, as well as posting permissions on the #brothel channel.
• Giveaways: Grants permissions to hold giveaways via GiveawayBot. You must ask a mod for this permission.
• Contest Winner 🏆: (color #eeb600) You get this if you won the most recent serverwide contest. This role gets removed after the next contest.
• Event Organiser: Lets you talk in #events and ping people in #event-pings. Gives manage messages and mute/unmute permissions in event-related channels. You can get this by pitching a good event idea to a mod.

Vanity roles

Vanity roles are roles that do not give extra permissions, but are meant to give your name a unique color. Trollsome and robbed and rape roles have access to an array of vanity roles to choose from.

Punishment roles

You get these for fucking up. Contrary to other roles, this roles take away permissions as opposed to adding them. These roles are appealable.

• Muted: (color #818386) Non-appealable role that expires after a set amount of time. You will not be able to talk in most channels with this role. This role is given for more minor rule-breaks.
• NVIDIA Container: (color #5c2200) "Contained" role. You can only talk in a single "jail" channel, and will not be able to view any other channel other than info channels.
• Reaction Banned: You get this for falsely using the report feature, or from spamming reactions. You will be unable to react to any messages.
• howie ban: Howie is a chatbot that gets smarter the more you talk to it. There are some rules for talking to Howie so you don't break him, if you break these rules, you get this role and won't be able to talk to Howie anymore.
• meta banned: You get this for shitposting too much in more serious channels, such as #petitions. If you have this role, you are no longer able to talk in these channels.
• young babby: Newer role. To guard against raids, new users must verify before being let into the server. New unverified users will have this role, which will lock them out of all channels except for #babby-zone.

Notification roles

You can assign any these roles to yourself.

• Announcements: You will get pinged about announcements
• events: You will get pinged about events.
• Roland fan: You will get pinged randomly.
• history pisstory: Allows you to view archived channels.
• jackbox: You will get pinged when somebody is hosting a Jackbox game.
• minecraf: You will get pinged for announcements about the Minecraft survival server.
• creative minecrap: You will get pinged for announcements about the Minecraft creative server.
• ironicn eww: You will get pinged for important Irony News.
