Little is known about Wry before his rise to Discord stardom. Wry has always been particularly hesitant to speak on his personal life. However, he has been stated as saying that, ever since a child, he had been "destined for moderation greatness". | |||
Wry began his Discord adventure with his first server, Obama's Playhouse, created on January 23rd, 2019. Here he met many of his first Discord friends, including [[Peely]]. This server was largely unimportant with the exception of one major event. Around February 2020, Doctor Theno joined the server and a partnership between Obama's Playhouse and the [[Theno Empire]] was formed. This greatly increased the membership and activity in both servers and eventually led to the creation of Wry and Mamba's new server, the [[Federal Troll Agency]] (or the [[FTA]] for short). There Wry met [[Bangshakalaka]] who introduced him to the existence of irony servers and more specifically, the [[OKBR3|third OKBR server]]. | |||
Over the next 13 months, the [[FTA]] grew to over 6,000 members. However, after a falling out with Theno and his community, a rivalry was sparked between the [[FTA]] and the "Gondals" (the name given to followers of Theno and members of [[The Gondal Empire]] and subsequent Gondal servers). This led to many raids, nukes, and the eventual decimation of the [[FTA]] by hand of the Gondals on June 11th, 2021.
