 With Kirbizia's growing unpopularity, Kirbizia decided to quit moderating the server and subreddit. Kirbizia would go on to apologize to Venomi and Cmonster for some of the stuff that happened, in a now long lost tweet. Ownership of the subreddit was given to [[GrantVsZombies]], while ownership of the Discord Server was given to [[LunarShadows]]. Lunar was a relatively new user at the time, and its suspected that he was given owner in an attempt by Kirbizia to kill the server. As the new owner, Lunar unbanned everyone who Kirbizia banned for being a member of Bruhmoment.

 In December 2018, the token for Ohtred, the "Other [[Uhtred]]", was leaked, allowing a malicious user to log into the bot. Since the bot had very high permissions, it caused catastrophic damage in all the servers the bot was in. The bot token was leaked by accident when Uhtred accidentally uploaded it to the bot's GitHub repository without realizing it. The person who hijacked the bot is unknown, nor is their motive. This led to OkBuddyRetard being nuked on December 30, 2018. When the bot was nuking OkBR1, there wasn't any staff online with a role high enough to stop it.
