The Beginnings
The conflict dates back to late may and early june, when hhh, a friend of zeemgeem got moderation perms for helping developing a few parts of the server.
Emma as well as a few other users, have requested to transfer ownership from kirbizia to zeemgeem.
Her inactivity and doing nothing in terms of actual moderation gave a few good points.
The concept of an ownership transfer steadily gained a lot of traction in the public channels of Dogelore over the course of the week.
On the 17th of june, kirbizia banned zeemgeem and emma with the annoucement. Afterwards on the 18th of june. She resigned as the owner and handed it to hhh.
In the annoucements channel, she stated that she didn't like the position she was in, and that she was an awful owner of Dogelore.
Afterwards she unbanned zeemgeem and emma with the intentions of letting them talk out the things with h. Then left the server.
Sides of the Conflict
Loyalists - Led by hhh, considered to be the ones whom won the war, after it, h remained the owner. And most loyalists retained the power.
ACCUSED OF
Being corrupt and incompetent. Speculations of hhh being an alt account of kirbizia.
Zeemists - Led by zeemgeem, considered to be the ones who lost the war, main leaders banned / demodded, created their own server which now has spiralled into huge unactivity.
ACCUSED OF
members of the zeemist faction have been accused of breaking many integral rules, mass pinging aswell as spamming.
HHH Rumble
In the mod chat h told the mod team that they would transfer ownership to zeem, they gave him a useless role called "owner" but that didn't actually transfer ownership.
when mods started questioning the delay, hhh stayed silent. and didn't respond to any questions.
As time passed tensions built. Many mods began to suspect that hhh never even wanted to hand ownership to zeem and only gave the owner role to calm things down a bit.
Tensions built and the events slowly began to enter the public chats such as dogeneral,
eventually it all resulted to banning of gabe and flat rat. Afterwards, the conflict spiralled into a gigantic mess and the moderation team couldn't control it. The General Chat was in Shock.
As the conflicts escalated. Many chats were bombarded with rule breaks and spam and Mass Protests,
During the protests, ultra pinged everyone with a copypasta posted by gabe that detailed the toxicity of the mods.
Zeem posted many invites to cum city, an Alternative Discord. And soon. He was punished for it, muted and then banned. #dogeneral was quarantined and many users and mods left the server
The Aftermath
Zeemgeem was banned for rulebreaking, just like ultra.
Emma was demodded and Flat rat was remodded, r/dogelore and cum city now exist as separate entities, with cum city becoming unactive and r/dogelore reaching 60 thousand members.
