CringeAnarchy was the official Discord server of the infamous r/CringeAnarchy subreddit. Created in November 2016, it is the oldest server to be considered an "irony server", preceding its rival, Deep Fried Memes, by a month and a half. The server had two official iterations. Not much information about the server remains, having begun and ended its life so long ago.

r/CringeAnarchy was quarantined on September 27, 2018. The subreddit, which had over 400,000 subscribers, gained much notoriety around this time due to primarily having "far right", "anti-transgender", and "anti-SJW" content. The subreddit was banned on April 25, 2019 due to "the posting of content that glorifies or encourages violence.", and it seems that the Discord server vanished with it around the same time.

History

In late 2014, r/CringeAnarchy was created as a less-moderated alternative to r/cringe. The subreddit created its first Discord server on November 18, 2016.

On March 22, 2019, the server was nuked for about the fifth time, possibly once again by Cerkies, bringing it from over 1,900 members to almost zero.
