Revision Deletion is a tool that allows an edit's revision text, edit summary, or username to be hidden from a page's history.

There may be several reasons why you would want this info hidden, including:

  • You accidentally edited without being logged in and would like your IP hidden
  • Someone added sensitive info that you really don't want anyone to see
