Rules edit
- 1. Must fit the sub, the subreddit is for so-bad-its-good humor. All posts must be images that are so stupid, juvenile, or generally bad that they become funny for the wrong reasons. There would be also be a flowchart made to see if a post actually fit the subreddit for users to use.
- 2. Must not be better suited for other popular humor subs. Posts that exhibit the distinct styles of other popular humor subs are not allowed. These subreddits include, but are not limited to: OkBuddyRetard, DankMemes, DeepFriedMemes, SurrealMemes and YoungPeopleYoutube.

- 8. Reddiquette, Site-Wide rules are heavily enforced here, breaking them will result in a immediate permanent ban. This is a meme community not a debate community. If you are found being hateful you will be banned with no questions asked.

Pro-Donald Trump Account Hijacking edit
On August 7th there would be a massive attack on many subreddits, including /r/ComedyHeaven. A user, or rather coordinated group of people known as "advanceHCAjobs" would hijack the accounts of many innocent subreddit mods, and plaster pro-Donald Trump 2020 campaign advertisements all over the subreddits which the hijacked accounts had mod permissions on. This would even gain the attention of reddit admins, the admins would also release an official statement related to this.

Judging by the internet archive, the subreddit would return to normal a day after.
End of "Approved Users" edit
Before August 16th and the announcement that ended the system of "Approved Users", it was a system where a mod would approve a post and the OP gets a user flair that labels them as a approved user and adds them to the approved user list. That means that they get through the mod queue next time they post and their post goes straight to new. This system unfortunately enough didn't work as intended for the moderators, as even with this system terrible submissions would get into new and clog up the subreddit. The simple solution was to get rid of it. Every post now has had to be approved by the moderation.
ComedyHell's Revival edit
Sometime around late 2020 the moderators at r/ComedyHeaven (?) would request ownership of the subreddit and change ComedyHell into a less strict ComedyHeaven, "A CH without mods" it would be the first sister subreddit to ComedyHeaven.
Split from the Discord server edit
r/comedyheaven severed all ties with its Discord server on January 27, 2021, after the subreddit's moderators determined that the server's userbase was "low quality" and "irredeemable". The server was given a new owner and it soon became known as the I.C.U., short for the Institution for the Criminally Unfunny.
