History
The OkBR2 Subreddit Split was a plan to make OkBR2 it's own Independent server, make a new subreddit for the server to gain members from and pass ownership to the then head administrator of the server, Harmonic.
This plan dates to early 2019. It was made due to a growing divide between the subreddit and discord, the fact that many of the OkBR subreddit moderators were banned on the discord server did not help at all.
The Split
The Idea of a split was largely discussed and it was decided that the server would be finally splitting off the subreddit, with the subreddit moderators losing all control on the discord and OkBR2 losing it's only way to gain members, the server's future was uncertain.
Everything was finalized on January 17th with GrantVsZombies resigning from ownership and giving it to Squidplumber. After all of this happened, there was a competition for a new server name. This name becoming Funny Omega.
Only one day after the Split, Funny omega partnered with 404. (Old name for r/dankmemes Server.)
