How to install mods for the minecraft server
Instructions
These instructions assume you are on Windows 10 and already have vanilla Minecraft Java Edition installed.
- Install Forge if you haven't already.
- Go to https://files.minecraftforge.net/
- Click the installer for the latest version.
- Once you have the .jar file downloaded, run it. This should install Forge and you should see a Forge profile in the Minecraft Launcher.
- Install the mods.
- Download the zip file containing the mods here.
- If you don't trust that, alternatively you can look up each mod on CurseForge one by one (mod list) and install them that way.
- Extract the zip file and enter the folder.
- Select all the .jar files in the folder and copy them to the clipboard.
- Go to the following folder:
%appdata%\.minecraft
- Then go to the
mods
folder, or create it if it doesn't exist. - Paste the files.
- Boom hopefully ya mods are installed.
- To enter the game with mods, select the Forge profile in the Minecraft launcher. When you get into the game you should hopefully see all the mods in the mod menu.
