Maple incident

The Maple Incident was a critical part of OkBuddyRetard 5 drama and foreshadowed several things to come for the server.

The events that happened during the Fall of 2023 were related to a user who went under the name "Maple", and had sparked a fire of controversy amongst the user base.

Maple was apparently a bait account used to trap pedophiles, which is why the age of the user was "16" even though it is not the actual age. They were owned by an ex-mod of OKBR5 [insert name here]. The psyop backfired horribly which could possibly be blamed due to poor communications within the mod team.

Maple would spam ping several users with 2018 memes and would strangely receive bonus perms from server moderators, particularly Bushi . Bushi would be accused of being a pedophile for giving Maple special perms and for unmuting them. (Do note, they are not a pedo. Please do not go out of your way to harass them especially when they are innocent. -ironylol)

All of the chaos and the mass pinging and the weird "minors" drama would become a catalyst to the nuke by The and the great schism of Can win with great friends. The dust has settled now and OKBR5 is peaceful again and everything had been fully discussed and sorted out. There has not been anything heard from Maple since.
