On June 2023, /u/furrytesticlesack would come back and establish r/bonehurtingjuice as a communist meme subreddit, as an effort to "protest the API changes" the entire subreddit would be closed down for a bit, then some posts would begin to appear which were related to communism, all posts which actually fell into what a BHJ meme was would be deleted, and furrytesticlesack would let all unrelated communist memes in, this would go for around a month until [[Kirbizia]] gave u/myszPL mod permissions to bring the subreddit back to normal, during this fake communist takeover a few refuge communities would be formed, similarly to what had happened during Operation Chungus, many posts on the subreddit r/justunsubbed would also be made detailing users' discontent with what had happened, aswell as posts on r/enoughcommiespam related to the takeover. Detailing that the subreddit became an "unfunny communist circlejerk" (they weren't wrong.)

Some would be even banned for speaking against this troll attempt, though they were ultimately unbanned after the subreddit finally returned to normal. The announcement below marked the end of the communist takeover. On July 6th 2023 u/furrytesticlesack would be removed from his mod position on the subreddit. ''(Hopefully once and for all)''
