If anyone could be described as the odd one out in the '''MoeLester family''', it was Bufner. Whether it was the all-but-forgotten '''Happy Wheels Coup''' or the random opening of channels no one would use (sometimes they would be used for an entirely different purpose entirely <ref>Unbeknownst to many, the beloved #penis-channel was meant to be a simple "don't-break-the-chain" channel until the rightful will of the people turned it into the cultural phenomenon we know it as now.</ref>), it was almost as if he was always living in a world separate from ours, doing as he pleased, without much regard for whether the other members would even care about his activities. His presence, however, was uncontroversial for the most part (barring the '''r/fatfurs incident'''), as most of the time was spent fucking around in the #bot-channel. It was unfortunate, then, that this place would also serve as the catalyst for his exile.  

Before the details of the story are revealed, one should know that the actions taken by the '''moederators''' here will not be defended. It will be told how it happened, as unflattering as the whole situation may be to the server leadership as a whole. It is important to share, however, as even so the behavior of certain '''moederators''' would be put on full display, showing both how much this way of acting was tolerated in the past as well as why it is exactly that those '''moederators''' in question would go on to face karma in the future.  

It started off innocently enough. Using the '''esmBot''', '''Bufner''' took an image and fed it into the bot repeatedly, in order to create a chain of subreddits at the bottom of the image. Starting with the classics, the comedy black holes that are '''r/funny''', '''r/gaming''' and '''r/dankmemes''', pretty soon quite an interesting subreddit name found itself on the list. As edgy of a place as the server used to be back in the day, doing this clearly pushed the boundaries even of a space like this. Ironic rape threats may have been shared almost daily, but racism was still taken somewhat seriously by the mod team. Although no punishment was given out, as it was assumed this issue would not be repeated, it was clear there may be consequences in the future should this happen again.

And so it did happen again. The details are slightly different this time, instead of the n-word being simply spelled out, the second incident is a thinking man's conundrum, a puzzle only solvable by the most genius members of society, for only a true intellectual could figure out the hidden meaning behind a GIF showing nothing but the letter N dancing around. It would sure be quite unfortunate if someone else, accidentally, posted a GIF featuring the letter I right afterward. What naughty words might these letters write out in the end? Surely no one could have expected it to be the n-word of all things? As the majority of mods, even if they may seem that way, aren't 6-year-old children who are amused by the fact that a swear word is said, an issue was immediately taken around this when a server member tried to start an n-word chain. '''Bufner''' decided to, following the short conversation about it, to post the accursed GIF in mod chat. Thankfully, the n-word chain was quickly shut down before it even properly started. With the previous incident still freshly in mind, this failure of a chain was successful in bringing attention to '''Bufner''''s behavior and started a days-long focus on him.

Unfortunately, much of what happened in the following days has been lost to time, as many messages were deleted by '''Bufner''' himself without any logs to back them up. What remains, however, is not the prettiest of stories. While pretty much all of the mods agreed that the things he posted were cringe and had no place in this server, the way this situation was approached bordered on cruel. Led by '''Gladiux''' and '''Gio''', with a few of the other mods joining in from time to time, what happened was basically targeted bullying, with '''Bufner''' being made fun of after almost every single message he posted. While the other mods may have made a joke about it here and there, the two of them were relentless, taking any chance they could to take a jab at him. Signs of clear distress were visible in some of '''Bufner''''s messages, yet the mods still carried on.
