Salem (also known as yousefsalem718 and SalemZhar768) is an infamous user who is currently active in Awesome Planet. He is known for speaking in extremely poor grammar (though it has slightly improved over the years), being deaf, and being frequently banned from servers due to "bigotry" or simply being a nuisance. He is also an artist, and occasionally makes drawings and videos related to Discord servers or their users. In addition, Salem is a moderator of MEME X, a server with over 51,000 members, THE BIG SERVER, and owns his own server, Really the Server, which has over 100 members.

History

Salem created his account on August 5, 2017, while he was only 11 years old. His first interactions with the irony sphere were when he joined The's server, THE BIG SERVER, in early 2019. The was so annoyed by him back then that he almost decided to ban him. However, he technically never broke any rules, so he kept him around. Around this time he also became active in Quailand, a server owned by a small YouTuber named Quayuh which once had connections with Peternity. However, he has long since been banned.

In early 2021, Salem joined Funny Jungle. He was active on there and on FJ2 before being banned by Chalice on December 21, 2021, likely due to being annoyed by him. On the 23rd, he was unbanned by Owen, and on the 25th, Chalice bans him again for "lying". On December 27, Owen unbans him twice, with the second time being after another attempt by Chalice. On the 28th, The bans Salem, then is unbanned by Owen, and several hours after The leaves, Chalice bans Salem again. These events, among other drama, make Salem continue to seethe about Chalice to this day. He wouldn't be unbanned from Funny Jungle 2 until February 11, 2022, after Chalice left and The was remodded.

After he was unbanned from FJ2, Salem remained active and continued to annoy the mods. His new enemy was Faya, the new co-owner, who repeatedly kicked and muted him for being annoying. Faya finally banned him on April 24. He was later unbanned by MajickMania 5 days later, but Faya banned him again 14 hours later for "alting". He was unbanned from what was now Funny Galaxy on July 10, during the post-nuke unban waves, although the server had gone completely inactive by this point.

On August 3, 2022, Salem joined Awesome Planet. On May 24, 2023, lego2003 attempted to ban him for transphobia, but was blocked by royalparty. The next day, he was banned by Int for "repeated bigotry" and "deliberately breaking the rules".

He joined the newly created OkBuddyRetard 5 on April 22, 2023. He was banned by Myszak 3 days later, after being muted three times in one day and a successful mod vote.

On April 29, 2023, Salem made an agreement with Trollbuscus to not send transgender memes in order to be unbanned from Awesome Planet.

On May 26, 2023, Salem joined Whenthe after being invited by The to help konaa's server icon suggestion win. Even though the voting was restricted from whitenames soon after he joined, he remained fairly active for the time before suddenly being banned by yote (possibly influenced by Myszak) just 8 hours after joining for having a "weird message history". The ban was controversial to the servers users, and wasn't even recorded in the punishment log.
