+On April 1st, 2023, there was an April fool's joke where a moderator, Omar., pretended to delete the #general channel, being demoted afterwards to keep up the joke. The real general channel was hidden, and they temporarily replaced it with a new one. After the joke was over, an admin, Jesse, tried to delete the fake general but accidentally deleted the real general channel instead. It had been the longest lasting general channel at that point.
