| The plan dates to early 2019. It was made due to a growing divide between the subreddit and discord.

| The fact that many of the OkBR subreddit moderators were banned on the Discord did not help at all.

| The Idea of a split was largely discussed and it was decided that the server would be finally splitting off the subreddit, with the subreddit moderators losing all control on the discord and OkBR2 losing it's only way to gain members, the server's future was uncertain.

| Everything was done and it finalized on January 17th with GrantVsZombies resigning from ownership and giving it to Squidplumber. After all of this, there was a competition for a new server name. The new name becoming '''Funny Omega.'''
