== Comedy Heaven 1 Era ==

=== January 2020 ===
The continuing tensions between omen, the owner of comedy heaven 1 and the subreddit staff team causes them to officially move to a new second installment of the comedy heaven discord servers. Comedy Heaven 2 was the last official subreddit discord aswell as the server that is nowadays known as ICU.

Ownership was given to Will H, and the server is officially open on the 24th of January 2020

== Comedy Heaven 2 Era ==

=== February 2020 ===
The first wave of the second comedy heaven discord server instated, mostly old prominent members of the first server who were previously not moderators. The moderators that passed their trial term were Veridis, peembombs, Tundraa and danieldan0 

=== May 2020 ===
The month of may brought many big changes to the server and it's ownership, prior to the events of May 1st Will H had transferred ownership of the server to Edge as he had largely become inactive. Additionally, on may 1st a new wave of trial mods, including sm0nky, willyum, nxc, overo and Cmaj7b11 were promoted. Later that day, most of the members of the staff team as well as most of the older Comedy Heaven 1 users, left the discord server following a mass burnout caused by server drama surrounding the userbase's conflict with Nepu as well as accusations of mod abuse brought by nxc's leaks of the mod chat. Many of the users who left the server moved to places such as [[Bruhmoment|BruhMoment]] and [[Swagistan]]. Some never returning, after nxc was demoted from their position for the leak most of the staff team had left the server and the remaining trial mods were given full permissions, immediately what followed was great chaos, everyone pings and a universal hatred for [[Overo]] by all members of the server and a turbulent transformation of the userbase from CH1 users to newer CH2 users. Throughout this chaos, Edge retained his ownership of the server. By June, the server had mostly recovered and had promoted some new trial mods, one of which was Disco, the current owner.

=== July 2020 ===
Edge leaves, effectively making Veridis the owner of the server.

=== August 2020 - December 2020 ===
Veridis manages the server, and multiple mod waves come and go, not much happened during these months but the quality of the userbase noticeably changes and the humor of the server slowly shifts with the absence of the CH1 users.

== ICU Era ==

=== January 2021 - The Rapture ===
By now, Veridis and many members of the subreddit mod team had determined that the discord userbase was unreasanably low quality and almost irredeemable. The /r/ComedyHeaven admins had decided that they would have to disconnect from the discord server. Therefore, the server was to be rebranded and would gain users from partnerships and vanity links with the absence of the subreddit.

Multiple contests passed until "Institution For The Criminally Unfunny / ICU" was passed to be the new name of the server. Before Veridis and the rest of the /r/ComedyHeaven mod team left. Veridis nuked the rules, subreddit and announcement channels aswell as anything that was slightly related to the subreddit. Erasing most of the sources of information about the pre - ICU period. The original CH1 server was also deleted, erasing the first server for good. Disco held ownership of the server ever since.

=== The Rapture - 2nd Anniversary since "Independance" / 2023 ===
On the 28th of January 2023, Comedy Heaven, or now ICU finally reached it's second year without any reddit interference, the server has been relatively stable, with not much staff drama nor any unusual occasions, the membercount has also been growing, certainly not Dogelore wise growth, but it is relatively stable, sometimes server events are hosted and the server has fully developed it's indentity and what it actually wishes to be.<blockquote>''Friends, users and mods alike, I love you all the past year was tough on all of us, more on some than others, you'd think now that the pandemic is settling down that people would be more active and happy but as we saw, it was one hell of a year, tough as shit, despite that, we made through it, we lost many people and I'm not gonna lie, every once in a while I still think about Smegman's status, whatever happened to him I hope he's alright, as for the other mods who left, we got just as many who joined, so i pay my respects to those who've gone and I accept the new mods with open arms, let's hope they're good''</blockquote>
