The Story Of DFM 1
The DFM discord, most likely the TRUE origin to irony servers, the server was created on January 5th, 2017, after kirbizia asked jesushchristonabike for permission to create one, jesuschristonabike being the owner of the DFM subreddit, the nuke of the original server was caused because of mass server infighting and staff drama, it all happened after Cerkies, a moderator whom was well known for being a very active and passionate user about the server pinged everyone with "DEEPFRIEDMEMES ARE DEAD" resigning and leaving, the general channel was in pure chaos. The staff of the server had a discussion and they decided to nuke the place, it started lightly with everyone pings but afterwards there was a huge mass ban wave, causing around 1500 users to get banned and lowering the server's membercount to go from 2000 to just 100. after a final conversation between the staff on september 26th 2017, 7:30 EST. The DFM 1 server was officialy, deleted. Afterwards a doc featuring the mods' final goodbyes was released, and at the end of 2020, the subreddit got closed indefinitely.

Currently, Deep Fried Memes is in it's fourth server, it's a somewhat alive Discord with a pretty big community. The server advertises through instagram ads and other strange ways. The Server's Owner is Hyperion.
