ICU / Comedy Heaven was the second official Discord server of the r/ComedyHeaven subreddit. As of now, the subreddit and discord server have split and went their separate ways with Comedy Heaven changing its identity and becoming an independent server under the Ownership of Alice / Disco.
History
Before The Split

The Subreddit Split
With both the subreddit and discord growing somewhat sick to eachother on the 28th of January 2021 a decision was made for the Comedy Heaven discord to split off from the subreddit. The server was rebranded under it's own new name, Institution For The Criminally Unfunny or in short ICU.
Everything related to the subreddit was purged off the server and the ownership was given to Alice / Disco. The server was actually supposed to be nuked, but due to Disco opposing the idea the server remained intact.
After The Split
After the split, known as "The Rapture" in the server, some members of staff left the server; mainly sub-admin, with the inclusion of the owner Xibir.
Comedy Heaven was left in a temporary placeholder state, and the discussion channel was open to all users for a time. It was decided through a community vote to go with a sanatorium theme with the server, renaming it "Institution for the Criminally Insane" (commonly referred to as ICU or icu). Two more events were hosted to decide on a server icon and vote emotes, ending on February 11th.
