196cord (also known as SJW Inc.) was the official discord server of the subreddit r/196. It was created on 15 January, 2021 by snapsterson. On the 19th of January, the server would be opened to the public with an invite link posted to the r/196 subreddit. Its custom invite was https://discord.gg/196cord.
It shut down because the owner had a power trip about something and nuked and deleted everything.[1] The server supposedly only has one channel with an invite to the admins' new server, and invites are disabled.[2]
History
The server was nuked on June 30, 2023, losing most of its members, but it survived. It had over 20,000 members prior to the nuke.
