The server lasted four months before being nuked by [[Cerkies]]. Thanks to mass server infighting and staff drama, after a lengthy discussion it was decided that the server would be nuked. A ban mass wave caused around 1500 users to be banned off the server instantly, and finally when there was about only 100 users left, on september 26th 2017, 7:30 EST. The DFM 1 server was officialy deleted.

It was created on May 5th 2018 by [[Reborn]] following Frizmo's nuke of DFM 3 that took place on the same day. Ownership was quickly transferred over to [[Hyperion]] before it opened to the public. Although the subreddit is now closed, the server is still open to this day and advertises itself through its Instagram account.
