Irony Dawn

Irony Dawn is a Currently in-development Modification for the game Hearts of Iron 4, produced by Paradox Interactive. In this modification, well known and smaller niche discord irony servers are given the role of being nations, the player needs to choose one of the playable countries and choose one of the paths in the "Focus Tree".

Original Concept

The original concept of the mod dates back to early 2021, with the singular developer of the mod beginning a development of a relatively primitive build, this first build had a general concept of what the mod should be. Unfortunately though, the development of the first build faded into obscurity after a while though, unmotivation had a key factor in the first build's demise. The first build is now also lost to time, with it being lost forever, only a few screenshots and assets remain... Most of the footage was also lost due to many servers from the time of the mod's development period such as Irony Hub being unfortunately nuked.

Second Time

Suddenly, the mod's development was brought back, though everything was started from the scratch, weekly sneakpeaks are currently happening for the modification. There is currently no release date, though it is planned to be somewhere during late 2023, with the demo of the mod having two playable countries. As of now, about four sneakpeaks have been revealed. Those sneakpeaks can also be found on The Official Irony Wiki Discord, the mod is planned to have staff as leaders of countries and generals, with there being some exceptions and instead there being regular users for these roles.
