After a week of tension between '''Charter''' and '''LarKc,''' legal action had been pursued, the main catalyst being an aggresive comment made by '''Charter''' towards administrator '''Decoherence'''. In the span of a few days, and indictment was made and a date for the trial was finally decided upon. This would be the first trial to take place after the constitution reform allowed certain rule-breakers or troublemakers to hold a trial in their defense before the moderators take action.

The charges in the indictment can be summarized as such:

A brief summary of the charges was provided before the defence proceeded. After some banter, the defence had agreed upon their response to the first of the charges. '''Dainis''' states that there was no foul play in count one, as '''Mr. Asex''', who shared screenshots of direct messages with '''LarKcuavian''', did so in a public server. The defence also remarks that '''Mr. Asex''' did remark that '''LarKcuavian'''<nowiki/>'s action were one of the reasons he had left the server, which made '''Charter''' feel morally responsible to share it with the server. '''Decoherence''' responded by showing off a screenshot where '''Mr. Asex''' states that while he had mentioned the issues outside the server, it was '''Charter''' who asked for the screenshot, and '''Mr. Asex''' never meant to cause any trouble. The first charges ended with it being clear that '''Charter''' had a right to share these images, but the mod team deems it an unnecesary escalation of conflict. After a 5 minute break where '''Walter''' went to grab some snacks and defendant '''Charter''' had cuddled his kitty, the first charge proceeded. The opening act was over; '''Dainis''' had uncovered the so-called "''Operation United Russia''". The first of two video files uploaded to the courtroom showed a 31 second exposé on the moderation team's actions. The video showcases the RVR ER2 train bot, added to the server by '''Dainis'''<nowiki/>' request during his time in senate. The bot, designed by '''Dainis''' himself, had been relaying messages from the moderators' private channel onto an unknown server. The messages had mainly showcased administrator '''Decoherence''' repeatedly calling for the banning of '''Charter'''. '''Decoherence''' later admitted he was teaching '''Girard''' to hate '''Charter''', showinv off the missing context of the bot's messages. Truly, the courtroom was shocked and tried to interrogate '''Dainis''' on how he got hold of these messages, '''Dainis''' simply responds with "It's pretty self explanatory". '''Walter''' points out '''Dainis'''<nowiki/>' bot counts as malware, making it a direct violation of the rules of the server– and not only that, he points out his actions are in direct violation of European international law and the GDPR. <ref group="note">https://gdpr-info.eu/art-5-gdpr/</ref> The controversy was set aside to be unpacked after the third charge was addressed. For now, the court moves on.

The defense discusses their options, mulling over the use of "''The big boy''". Notably, president '''Testicle (left)''' comes to watch the trial from afar. '''Charter''' starts off once again vanishing the idea that this count is valid. He explains that the words he used fall under the category of "kill yourself" jokes, which had been allowed in the rule for a long time by then. The prosecution takes the angle of hypocrisy; they claimed what '''Charter''' had done was far beyond what '''Larkc''' had ever done to him. The count is dismissed due to irrelevancy.  

For his closing statement, defendant '''Charter''' states he's already made his peace with '''LarKcuavian''', and he was ready to be past this. He states that he's never to been open to making his peace with '''LarKc''', but mods like '''Decoherence''' have done nothing but portray him as someone actively looking to cause drama when he had already moved in. '''Charter''' declares his actions have no grounds for a ban, and the only reason he ever was is because of the unnecesary scrutiny that biased mods put him under.
