Editing Whenthe Subreddit Creation

After the [[Okbr2 Subreddit Split]] much of the server feared that it would die due to not being advertised enough, there were certain plans to create a subreddit which would help the server's growth.

== r/RageBased ==
Trying to breathe some life into the newly split off server of Funny Omega, the staff decided to try making a new subreddit for the server called r/RageBased.

r/RageBased was supposed to be a subreddit for rage comic related posts, this idea unfortunately failed and the subreddit itself was a critical failure, with much backlash from the already dying community.<ref>[https://i.gyazo.com/41f8f27b52b7b735ca5bd3f8bffdbc4d.png Announcement made by Baljeet regarding the creation of the r/RageBased subreddit.]</ref>

After r/RageBased's failure the staff realized their mistake of pushing a new indentity onto the server too soon, discussions and suggestions were taken in mind in order to create r/WhenThe. 

On the 25th of March 2022 the subreddit was announced to be released as public, ontop of that the Funny Omega name would also be changed to Whenthe, [[Prod]] also announced a role name competition

The Idea of the new Subreddit, r/WhenThe was simple. Users would post Gifs with funny Captions, this idea was extremely successful and during mid 2021 the subreddit exploded in popularity pushing the [[Whenthe]] discord server
