Editing Rip Drake

The '''Rip Drake''' hashtag was an effort to make a popular [[wikipedia:Twitter|Twitter]] hashtag, on social media, hashtags are used on microblogging and photo-sharing services such as Twitter or Instagram as a form of user-generated tagging that enables cross-referencing of content by topic or theme.

The hashtag would try to falsify [[wikipedia:Drake_(musician)|Drake's]], an american rapper's death, this hashtag originates in the [[Whenthe]] server.

On the 15th of November, an announcement was posted in the #announcements channel by the user [[Wurzt]] that told members to start sending messages with the #RipDrake hashtag on the Twitter platform, many other servers such as [[Dogelore]] or [[Irony Hub]] also helped with the effort of pushing the hashtag into the trending section of Twitter.
