Eventually r/BigChungusReligion would become the "main" BigChungus subreddit, with it now reaching around ~40 Thousand users as of 2023. Some stated that reddit administrators banned /r/bigchungus to draw attention away from all the other subs they banned during the large ban wave, as it currently now stands, the future of /r/BigChungus is lost, as there had been many attempts to revive the subreddits and many many Mod Requests. With all of them being declined. Some also recognize that this banishment is relatively similar to the ban of /r/[[LegoYoda]].
