The server would be founded on the 8th of October 2020, where it would grow through its custom vanity url, partnerships, and it also being a discord program partner. It would see an immense amount of growth during the prime time popularity of the Bingus meme in 2020 together with its main partner, the House of Floppa. Their respective vanity urls were .gg/bingus and .gg/floppa.

'''Bingus''' is a hairless Sphynx cat that originated from a video in which he is pet while staring at his owner. Attracting attention on Instagram in March 2020, Bingus’ popularity exploded in September after he appeared in a viral Reddit post, which later resulted in many online users referring to all Sphynxes as "Bingus."

The server would experience a few staff team crises, for example the [[Earl Grooming Accusations]]. However, the server would come tumbling down through an event known as the [[Great House of Bingus Split]]. The owner of the server [[Bloopy Buser]] would be outed as a major racist, harasser, manipulator, and so on in a series of events now known as [[The Expose]]. Some staff would plan a takeover of the server, causing there to now be two HOB servers. The original server would be nuked, and its vanity stolen.

This event would essentially divide the userbase into two servers, one owned by the old owner, being in deep ruins, and the second one becoming the "defacto" official server.
