The conversations on the server continued unchanged for a time. The fact that the user cared so much about the Moederators was strange as most Reddit users don't give a swag who their moderators are. Even so, it wasn't weird enough to stick in the minds of the Moederators.

On January 3, Mr. Sex shared the news of yet another The High Priest alt account being banned from Reddit.

The gauntlet was thrown. Our honor had been besmirched and we would not stand for it. This despicable action, committed by r/IDONTGIVEASWAG, was unforgivable. To steal from us, the proud nation of MoeLester, the thought of it disgusted us all.

While more raids were attempted in the future, it was always with the knowledge that the forces 9GAG would prevail. There is no winning against these "people". Know that 9GAG is their territory, and they will fight to defend it from emoji-users at any cost. It doesn't matter how many n-words have to be dropped to achieve that.

Anyone with the slightest knowledge of Greek mythology should be well aware of the myth of Sisyphus. Punished for his arrogance by the Gods, he is left with the task of pushing a boulder up a hill, with the prospect of escaping this punishment lying at the very top. Try as he might, however, as the boulder starts approaching the top of the steep hill, it rolls back to where it started, Sisyphus having made no progress at all. Yet Sisyphus does not give up. Every time the boulder rolls back, he follows, walking down to the bottom ready to start again.

Its commentary has been rendered in <b style="color:red">red</b> in order to facilitate ignoring the wretched lies it has made in its petty display. The moederators are infallible. No factual errors were made during the writing of this document and any evidence to the contrary is nothing but filthy JEWCORDIAN propaganda. These false statements have later been independently fact checked by a true Moexist-Lesterist patriot, colored in <i style="color:blue">blue</i>.

Punished for his arrogance by the Gods, he is left with the task of pushing a boulder up a steep hill, with the prospect of escaping this punishment lying at the very top. Try as he might, each time the boulder approaches the top of the hill, it rolls back down to where it started, reversing his progress. Yet Sisyphus does not give up. Each time this happens, he rolls the boulder rolls back up, only for it to roll down the hill again. <b style="color:red">(there was an extra space here and i corrected it, you’re welcome! <i style="color:blue">(Get this man a Reddit Gold.)</i>)</b>

On November 11, the cockroach was first banned on the r/69MoeLester420 subreddit. While the specific reasons were lost to time, <b style="color:red">(you banned me because i was active in r/RedditMoment) <i style="color:blue">(Hey gamers. Guy who actually banned him here. It was actually because I saw him being generally unfunny on some other shitposting subreddits and being over how unfunny the sub had gotten. Idk why he thinks it has to do with r/RedditMoment. It would not be until January that our story would truly begin. On January 18 the Cockroach was banned from the subreddit for a second time. The moment the gavel hit the hardwood and the ban was dealt, the fate of the universe itself was sealed. An eternal nemesis was found, one we may never rid ourselves of—our own boulder to push. <b style="color:red">(i’m flattered)</b>

On January 19, both Walter and SlenderSmurf woke up to find their Reddit accounts temporarily suspended. The reason? Harassment. The Cockroach, the had decided to report its modmail conversation to the Reddit admins. <b style="color:red">(no the fuck i didnt? lmao)</b> The low-life weasel spent hours provoking the mods, <b style="color:red">(didn’t happen, meds now.)</b> only to call the teacher the moment someone insulted it back. The punishments, lasting 2 days and a week respectively, were served with dignity, as would be expected from Reddit mods worth their karma. It is important to note that it wasn't the length or even the existence of these bans that was insulting, but rather the fact that someone would stoop so low as to involve the Reddit admins in the situation. <b style="color:red">(SLANDER)</b> That is a sign of the lowest breed of man, one so wretched that they would make a deal with Satan himself for rather than admit defeat. Thus did the Moederators intuit what kind of person they were dealing with, but nothing could prepare them for what came next. <b style="color:red">(the funniest shit ever)</b>

It was like this that the Moederators knew right away the type of person they were dealing with, yet even taking into account the racist tendencies the Cockroach put on display through their comments, nothing could prepare us for what would come next.

On February 13, as the encounter with the Cockroach faded from the Moederators memories, an image was posted to the r/69MoeLester420 subreddit. Not any ordinary image, as one may guess from the fact that its very existence warranted an entire paragraph of text. The image, featuring an uncensored, bloody penis cut in half in an incredibly unclean, gory fashion, was posted nineteen times. Nineteen. That is almost as much as 9+10. <b style="color:red">(TROLD)</b> This was the First Impact, otherwise known as the Penis Gore Incident. Such an event is especially dangerous for a small subreddit, as r/69MoeLester420 was at the time, holding less than 5000 members, as an influx of gore on a subreddit where the mods aren't terminally online could very well result in the entire subreddit being banned. The MoeLester Nation forever stays grateful to koonsbmw <b style="color:red">(probably ACKed after seeing the cocks, you are not forgotten <i style="color:blue">(RIP Koons. Sadly, as one might expect, this was far from the only encounter with the Cockroach.

Remember that lockdown idea the Moederators had, way back before the partnership with r/IDONTGIVEASWAG and r/IkeaFreshBalls was signed? Simply put, instead of leaving the floodgates of reddit open, each post would have to be approved by the mods. Although it hadn't been implemented before, this situation provided the perfect opportunity to test it out. With the code was already in place, all that was left to do was announce it. By the end of the day, the temporary lockdown had gone into effect , intended to stop any raids in the following days, until another less intrusive method of moderation was found. At the advice of Sam, still a regular member at the time, a minimum karma limit was set up, filtering out any posts made by new accounts. <b style="color:red">(unfortunately, this did not work, if it did there would be no need to write an essay about how fucking hilarious i am)</b>

The Cockroach was far from done. Unbeknownst to the Moederators at the time, a vile scheme was being planned in the most twisted corners of the internet. A call to arms, intended to bring the Soy Army to the side of the Cockroach. On February 16, just as the lockdown was lifted and the new measures were put into place, a post from one of the Cockroachs alts made its way into the subreddit's mod queue. It was immediately clear that this was not the last we would see of it. Soon after, a GIF captioned "LOL UKRAINE", <b style="color:red">(provided to me oh so graciously by the Niggedditor, blessed be his name)</b> showing the death of two soldiers in the midst of the ongoing Russo-Ukrainian War, was posted, followed by a text post, written by a friendCitation needed of the Cockroach, requesting that it be unbanned. <b style="color:red">(most likely the Niggedditor, blessed be his name)</b> Both posts were quickly removed. This "Second Impact," proved much easier to bear.

The Moederators did not have to wait long for proof of this thesis, as on February 21, the Third Impact occurred, this time on the server. 69MoeLester420 was under attack. And the worst part? We didn't even know about it. A few days before the incident, several users joined the server, seemingly innocuous, they stayed quiet and kept to themselves for the most part, occasionally even interacting with the mods. As the Second Impact was still fresh in the mods' minds, the conversation sometimes steered in that direction, with the new users playing along. <b style="color:red">(this was incredibly funny to witness in person i mind you, getting shittalked by an entire discord is something a man can only dream of. not really, it tends to happen a lot actually. maybe i’m the problem? nah, no way. <i style="color:blue">(L rizz)</i>)</b>

As the Second Impact was still fresh in the mods' minds, the conversation sometimes steered in that direction, with the new users playing along as though as if nothing was going on. It was on February 21 when the sleeper agents woke up. While not much remains as the messages were deleted automatically when the bans were dealt, one video remains, saved before the purge by Belize, which can only be described as edgy,  an edit of the National Victory Celebration held after the conclusion of the Gulf War in 1991 with nothing but "RACISM IS NON-NEGOTIABLE" written all over it. There is but a single issue the Cockroach didn't anticipate. Every time a raid of its occurred, an additional line of defences was placed. Just as the subreddit placed a minimum karma barrier, along with some other measures to protect from raiders, some to protect from the Cockroach specifically, so too did the server soon start putting protections in place in order to prevent this from happening again. The Automoderator was set up, automatically kicking out any members below the minimum account age. From then on, it was only a matter of how long the Cockroach was willing to wait between each raid. The minimum age could always be raised, and not even the Cockroach could keep on waiting forever. The tides had shifted.

The Automoderator was set up, automatically kicking out any members below the minimum account age. <b style="color:red">(this was annoying af, i had to use one of the jewcord members alts to see the reactions! fucking assholes. <i style="color:blue">(Soyjak)</i>)</b> From then on, it became a question of how long the Cockroach was willing to wait between each raid. <b style="color:red">(being a cunt online is my favorite activity <i style="color:blue">(Follow proper Reddiquette)</i>)</b> The minimum age could always be raised, and not even the Cockroach could keep on waiting forever. <b style="color:red">(i could)</b> The tides had shifted. <b style="color:red">(they hadn’t)</b>

That is, until March 23, when another volley of posts hit the subreddit. The Fourth Impact took the form of thirty-six separate bait-and-switch posts which would all cut to a video of a man, covered in shit, stroking his cock. <b style="color:red">(i laughed for a good 5 minutes after i read this, thanks. <i style="color:blue">(Wholesome 100)</i>)</b> One might wonder, what compels a man to send such a thing? And to that I say, that we are not talking about a human being. Disgusting shock "humor" is the absolute lowest form of comedy, should instill in the poster a great shame, <b style="color:red">(sneed more)</b> for how do you come to terms with the fact that you have this type of material saved on your device, not because you are sexually attracted to what is being depicted but rather because you find a man masturbating while covered in his own feces so amusing you cannot help but to snort and giggle in your gamer dungeon as if you have just experienced the absolute peak of your pathetic life when you decided to post it not once, but thirty-six separate times on a subreddit with less than 10k members. All of this dedicated to achieving an ultimately pointless goal; the banning a small subreddit. Yet the Cockroach went on. Not even in the darkest pits of SoyBooru could one find a proper portrayal of such an individual. <b style="color:red">(this is because poopson hasn’t been posted yet)</b> It would almost be funny were it not so tragic. <b style="color:red">(it’s pretty funny)</b>

Why does Sisyphus continue pushing his boulder? One might naively assume that it is the prospect of victory that compels him. Perhaps this was correct the first time that boulder was pushed up the slope, maybe even the second, tenth, or ten thousandth time. Yet it would soon dawn on Sisyphus that his task is hopeless. No matter how much effort he puts in, the boulder will always roll right back to the bottom. What might be the purpose of such a task if it will always amount to failure? The pointlessness of it may prove unbearable for some, for what is the point of anything if the outcome cannot be changed? Albert Camus offered a different perspective. One must accept the absurdity that surrounds us instead of trying to find a meaning where there is no meaning to be found. Sisyphus will never reach the top of the hill. Yet he continues on. He has accepted the meaninglessness of the task, and that acceptance allows him to live. He does not look for joy in the victory he will never achieve, for his hopes will only be crushed every time his progress is set back to the beginning. Instead, he finds happiness in every step he takes along the way, opting to enjoy the life that he has rather than spending it hoping for what he may never have. And as the boulder rolls back, he takes a sigh of relief knowing he can take a break from his work, before going down to start the cycle once more. The joy comes from the task itself, not the reward that might await him, for as grueling as it all is, in the end, this boulder is his and his alone, and nothing can take that away from him. He finds meaning in living itself, no matter how meaningless it may seem, for his life, torturous as it may seem, is as valuable as anyone else's.

In some sense, the Cockroach does the same. It is aware it will never win. It has been banned instantly many times and yet it keeps trying. It is the modern Sisyphus, determined to continue its endless task, as hopeless as it may seem. It does not care for the prospect of victory anymore. Instead, it finds joy in every n-word it drops, every dead child it posts. It is not the final goal that matters to it anymore, it knows very well that nothing will come out of its stunts, but it is the very process of annoying the mods that gives the Cockroach life. It is the journey that matters, not the destination. One must imagine the Cockroach happy.

The End of The High Priest
On December 21, 2022, Puss in Boots: The Last Wish was released in theatres. Audiences from across the globe went wild. Considered by many to be one of the greatest pieces of animation in the past decade, it received widespread acclaim and attention even from those that do not watch animated movies regularly. Puss in Boots: The Last Wish became one of the most talked-about movies of the year, and it is no wonder that the discussion reached 69MoeLester420. An unfortunate and unforeseen consequence of this discussion was the self-imposed exile of the head moderator, The High Priest.

Considered by many to be one of the greatest pieces of animation from this past decade, it has received widespread acclaim and attention even from those that do not watch animated movies regularly. It became one of the most talked-about movies of the year, and it was no wonder that the discussion reached 69MoeLester420 as well. An unfortunate and unforeseen consequence of the conversations held about it was the self-imposed exile of the head moderator, The High Priest.

The day was January 20. The High Priest had, by that time, become an integral part of the server. Although he did not care about moderating at all, he was considered a part of the MoeLester family. The devastating "Puss in Boots incident" was a piece of drama that could have easily been avoided, and yet, it snowballed to colossal proportions. Most of the Moederators would like to forget this chapter. There is no ill will here, but it sucks that it happened, and the Moederators wish to leave the person behind and move on.

It is no wonder that the Puss in Boots incident caused so much devastation to the community. It is a piece of drama that could have easily been avoided, yet snowballed to colossal proportions. Most of the Moederators would like to leave this chapter behind and forever forget about it, not in the same way as with the soon to be mentioned TikTokker situation, but rather in the sense that it just sucks that it happened, with no contempt being held as much as the wish to leave the person behind and move on.

The offending message may have gone completely unnoticed in most internet spaces, yet TikTokker, for all her faults, rightfully took issue with the message. Although we all held some form of respect for The High Priest, it was an undeniable fact that, once the proper context of the contents of the message settled in, this post was incredibly weird and kind of fucked up to share. The High Priest responded by explaining that he was talking about the voice of Puss, provided by Antonio Banderas, rather than his physical appearance. This did not satiate TikTokker, who, now with Instanormie by her side, continued the attack by stating that even if that was what he meant, he shouldn't have worded it in such a poor manner. TikTokker ended this conversation by muting The High Priest. She was ready to forget about this entire situation as long as it didn't turn into a reoccurring issue.

It was then that things went from weird to almost comically absurd. While people were ready to keep this incident in the past and forget about it, The High Priest couldn't help but repeatedly bring attention to it in the following hours. Bringing up the issue in a sarcastic manner in his DMs with TikTokker certainly didn't do him any favors, as claiming "evil spirits" possessed him in a situation like this caused much of the respect that TikTokker still held for The High Priest to slip away. Soon the question was raised of whether or not he was even being ironic: when the conversation resurfaced hours later in #general, he once again claimed to have looked back on the conversation and wondered if he was possessed by spirits. While obviously done jokingly, some of the mods, once again led by TikTokker, believed that this was a manipulation attempt meant to strike pity, while also shifting blame on some abstract entity in the past as opposed to the current him. It was on par with a Youtube apology video. The mods weren't buying it.

Not long after this, The High Priest left the server. As far as anyone is aware, he has had no contact with the other Moederators since.

The whole fiasco left everyone involved with a lot of mixed feelings. While it was agreed that what he said was bad, the Moederators wondered if they had been too hard on him. No matter our feelings about him, nothing can change what went down on that day. the relationship with The High Priest was permanently ruined, and he joined the ranks of the many lost Moederators. This loss was further soured by the fact that he was the original creator of the subreddit. With another chapter of the server's history closed, the turbulent ride neared its end.

A Change in Ownership
A Change in Ownership
On January 20, mere hours after The High Priest left the server, Mr. Sex announced he would be abdicating his position as server owner. Mr. Sex suggested Moe himself as a possible owner as well as Walter, and after a short back-and-forth between the two the it ultimately fell upon Walter to lead the server in the following months. Although the situation surrounding the server was already unstable given The High Priests recent and unexpected exile, it was only going to get worse. The Moederators<nowiki/>' numbers had already underwent an alarming decline during the past few months and they would continue to do so until the very end of the server. And so, Mr. Sex exchanged his final goodbyes before leaving, transferring ownership of the server and its uncertain future to Walter.

The TikTokker Saga: Part One
The TikTokker Saga: Part One
It was always clear that TikTokker was a dick. There is no going around it. From the very beginning, if someone was leading the charge against whichever Moederators had happened to slip up at the time, it was TikTokker, with Instanormie by her side, hurling insults and aggressively mocking them until they willingly left the server. For a long time, this behavior was tolerated. While clearly toxic, it was always directed at people the members of the server took issue with anyways, as pointlessly mean as those comments were in retrospect. But when the drama died down and TikTokker had to find a new target, things changed for her.
It was always quite clear that TikTokker was a dick. There is no going around it. From the very beginning of the server, if someone was to be leading the charge against whichever Moederators happened to slip up at the time, it was TikTokker, with Instanormie by her side, hurling insults and aggressively making fun of them until they willfully left on their own. For a long time, this behavior was tolerated, while clearly toxic, it was always directed at people the members of the server took issue with anyways, and as pointlessly mean those comments were in retrospect, at the time, it wasn't taken as an issue. But when the mod drama died down and TikTokker had to find a new target, things turned for the worse for her.

As mentioned previously, by this point in time, the server was for the most part, dedicated only to conversations between Sam and Belize, who had almost completely taken over the server due to the fact that the pair sent orders of magnitude more messages than the rest of the server combined. TikTokker was not a fan of this, having referred to these conversations as e-dating in the past, and wanted to put an end to this. Remembering the past behavior of TikTokker, one may realize that she does not give up on her goals easily, instead attacking relentlessly for as long as it takes for whoever's back the target has been painted on to leave on their own. As Belize was a mod at the time, this left only Sam as a suitable candidate. Acting like a complete and utter prick on any occasion she had the chance to, TikTokker would also mute and sometimes kick Sam from the server, who, in spite of TikTokker<nowiki/>'s behavior, returned every time.

TikTokker did not stop at Sam, and soon took to providing the same courtesies to newer members of the server. While in her mind this may have been a brilliant satire of how Discord power mods act like morons and ban anyone who dare say a word to them, in reality, she was doing the exact same thing she was criticizing.

It's not really a joke anymore once you actually go through with it.

And how funny is it being the butt of the joke? Not very, according to Sam, was quite annoyed by TikTokkers behavior at that point in time, and started calling for the Moederators to do something about her. As it was obvious that the "joke" had been taken too far, as new users were turning away from the server solely because of her presence. Walter decided to talk to TikTokker about it. Not wanting to cause any drama, God knows there had already been far too much in the pas, he politely asked for her to stop and tone it down a notch as it was quite obvious the new users were starting to fucking hate the Moederators.

Acting like a complete and utter prick at any occasions he had the chance to, she would also time out and sometimes kick Sam out of the server, who, in spite of TikTokker<nowiki/>'s behavior, returned every time.

We all know what this conversation led to. Had she listened to Walter<nowiki/>'s warning, there would have been no point writing this section. TikTokker<nowiki/>'s behavior continued through the following days, and on February 9, after Sam had once again been kicked, Walter received DMs from both him and Belize asking for TikTokkers removal. In the back of his mind, Walter already considered TikTokker an asshole who shouldn't be kept as a Moederator. The only issue was that although Walter was the server owner at the time, TikTokker was higher in the r/69MoeLester420 hierarchy. This meant that if Walter stripped TikTokker of all her mod powers on the server, she would be able to do the same to Walter on the subreddit. And to a Reddit mod, there is nothing more terrifying than that.
TikTokker did not stop at Sam, however, soon providing the same courtesy to some of the new members of the server. While in her mind this may have been a brilliant satire of how Discord power mods act moronically and ban anyone who dare say a word to them, in reality, she was doing the same exact thing she was criticizing. The Moederators needed divine intervention, and thankfully, Moe was ready to help. While the conversations on the server continued normally, behind the scenes, in the shadows, a conspiracy was starting to form. On the subreddit, both TikTokker and Instanormie, her loyal partner in crime, had their moderating permissions removed. They did not get completely demodded, however, allowing them to keep their place in the mod hierarchy should things change in the future. Meanwhile on the server, Walter removed their Moewner roles, before finally announcing it to the server. It was the perfect coup.

It wasn't long before TikTokker realized what had happened. Her respond was pretty much what the Moederators had expected. The first thing she mentioned was that she wanted to demod Walter. Thankfully, Moe had made sure that this was no longer possible. Instanormie immediately began to complain about how she was punished for nothing, even though she lost her Moewner role for her ceaseless encouragement of TikTokkers behavior, which all active members of the server could attest to. While she wasn't the one dealing out mutes and kicks, not only had she done nothing to stop it, she had actively cheered it on. TikTokker was kicked out from the server by Belize, while Instanormie remained disgraced, now as a Moederator instead of a Moewner.

Here's the funny part. Do you notice those four 👆 reactions under the message? People strongly approved of this decision, even though TikTokkers behavior had been like this since the very beginning of the server. It's just that no one had spoken up about it. We all wanted her gone, but were afraid to tell her all this time for whatever reason. To avoid drama, to avoid be kicked out of the subreddit, or most likely, not knowing if the others on the server shared our feelings about her. It wasn't until we were certain there was a significant number of people that hated her that we even thought about removing her role. And it all goes back to that at the time harmless decision to give her the Moewner role months ago. She was granted authority she never deserved and asserted it through aggressive behavior. No one could have demodded her on their own, it was only when Reddit assembled that anything could be done.

Let this be a message never to mess with Reddit Nation.

Yet even though the Moederators were wary of any such new requests, the name of the subreddit that decided to contact them caught their eyes. r/yescompanionimbecil. Owned by Kirbizia, the original creator of r/OKBuddyRetard, one of the most influential shitposting subreddits in recent years, and managed by Myszak, the one who made the proposal, it was clear to the Moederators that such an opportunity may never arise again. The offer, which was already taken by both r/IDONTGIVEASWAG and r/IkeaFreshBalls, was quickly accepted by r/69MoeLester420 as well. As it would later turn out, Myszak is one of the higher-ups on the irony.wiki, and offered the chance to add 69SwagBalls420 and any partnered subs to the wiki. This partnership was perhaps the only reason why this article exists in the first place.
** A conspiracy theory brought forward by Mr. Sex states that Cow milker may be an alt account of the High Priest, although such claims haven't been verified. While evidence is weak, the naming pattern is quite similar to the High Priest<nowiki/>'s, and such a long time of absence followed by a sudden reemergence strikes similar to the trolling performed by the High Priest in the past. At this moment, while amusing, the theory remains dubious.

* Despite the name, Mr. Sex is actually asexual. The opposite was the case with TikTokker, who started using the subreddit under the alias of Mr. Antisex. With time, TikTokker turned out to be neither a mister nor anti-sex, as she came <nowiki/>out as both trans and pansexual since originally joining the server.
