'''Dogecraft''' is a vanilla Minecraft server currently hosted by Dogelore user [[Ken4lyfe]]. As of now, it is in its fifth season.

== The Server ==
=== The First Dogecraft ===
This was the first season of Dogecraft, hosted by [[Tasni]]. Not much is known about this season, as it happened around three years ago and many users from this era of dogelore are no longer available.

=== Dogecraft 2 (Season 1, Season 2) ===
The second Dogecraft was hosted by Ken4Lyfe, first starting off as an Aternos server, moving to an actual host later.
A new server was announced on the 28th of December 2020. There were four factions to choose from upon joining the server: the Among Us faction, the Garfield faction, the Doge faction and the Troll faction.
This server was the first server to have a Custom Texture pack.

It was also advertised on the r/dogelore subreddit.

=== Dogecraft Season 3 ===
The third server was a failure and was largely overshadowed by [[WOID]], the server that was a collaborative project of Ironyhub, dogelore, OkBR4, and whenthe. Season 3 was also where the server struggled to get enough funding for the hosting. Mod abuse was also rampant and the experience was not pleasant for many users playing on the server. A custom dragon fight was present which largely failed to appease the community. This event also made one of the head administrators take a temporary leave from the staff team of the server. The season was closed with a doomsday event.

=== Dogecraft Season 4 ===
After the DogeCraft staff team decided that WOID was not a suitable option anymore for the server, they broke off from WOID, leaving it as just WOI. DogeCraft 4 was announced.

Especially similar to the second season and more stable than the third season, though it launched somewhat early and had a few bugs during the start. This season was certainly in a better state than any of the other seasons, but it took some time to fully launch.
