'''The r/place Romanian Trollface''' was an event held by [[OkPrietenRetardat]], between April 1 and April 4, 2022, and again between July 20 and July 26, 2023, in which OKPR Discord server users participated in the creation of a trollface with the Romanian flag, a well-known symbol of the subreddit, on the [https://www.reddit.com/r/place/ r/place] canvas. In 2022, the drawing was kept alive thanks to the help provided by [https://www.reddit.com/r/pMegu/ r/pMegu] during the event, with which an alliance was created that holds up even today, while in 2023, the drawing was contested by [https://new.reddit.com/r/Romania/ r/Romania] members, with whom discussions were held to cooperate, leading to the creation of [[PlaceRO]].

== Background ==
r/place was a collaborative project and social experiment hosted on Reddit on April Fools' Day 2017 and repeated again on April Fools' Day 2022. The experiment was based in a subreddit witt the same name, in which individual users could place a single colored pixel on an online canvas of one million (1000x1000) pixel squares, and wait a certain amount of time before placing another.

In 2017, the waiting time varied from 5 to 20 minutes throughout the experiment, and the user could choose their pixel's color from a palette of sixteen colors. In the 2022 edition, the canvas was eventually expanded to four million (2000x2000) pixel squares, and the palette gradually gained sixteen more colors for a total of 32.<ref>https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/R/place</ref>

On July 19, 2023, following the huge success of the last canvas edition and the recent turmoil on Reddit, the r/place subreddit announced the decision to reinstate the third edition of the canvas. It isn't known when the OKPR v2 server was first notified about this event (although on the opening day the server members were already aware a few hours before the start), nor who was the first person to announce the server about this experiment. It is certainly known that [[RomanianMemer|Mihailul]], Netflix's son and Edward were some of the event initiators.

The canvas was opened to the public at 13:00 UTC. There wasn't an immediate response from the OKPR server, as the members have not decided what to draw. After brief dscussions, everybody agreed on drawing the well-known subreddit symbol, the Romanian trollface. Mihailul created the first and only sketch of the pixelated trollface, which will become the official one. The design was prepared and the members were ready. All they needed was a place to begin.

After some 90 minutes, it was proposed to create the artwork at around the coordinates <code>785,530</code>, and so it began the first attempt. There were some fears about the brutal advancement of the Ukrainian flag towards the trollface, but the project didn't stop. Eventually at around 15:30 UTC, while the chin of the trollface was completed, the flag was next to our artwork, bringing with it certain death.<ref name="2022_atlas_5">https://2022.place-atlas.stefanocoding.me/#/5/785/530/10</ref> It didn't last long for the trollface to be covered by blue and yellow pixels, lowering the morale of OKPR members at the moment.

There was a second attempt at recreating the OKPR symbol, although there are currently no direct evidences or media files to prove it. One thing for sure is that the second iteration would have been recreated near the Foxhole artwork, as some members have suggested. While working on the first attempt, there were already some Reddit users creating another pixelated trollface at coordinates <code>650,620</code>,<ref name="2022_atlas_5" /> that eventually would be casted under the shadow of the [https://www.reddit.com/r/wallstreetbets r/wallstreetbets] artwork.<ref name="2022_atlas_7">https://2022.place-atlas.stefanocoding.me/#/7/650/620/10</ref> It was also discussed to draw the trollface somewhere near the transgender flag, which laid a few pixels above the Ukrainian flag, but this didn't materialize due to the high risk of being griefed again.

==== Canvas expansion & r/pMegu alliance ====
On the second day at around 16:30 UTC, following the huge wave of redditors joining r/place, the canvas expanded to the right, adding another 1000x1000 pixels. This was the perfect opportunity to revive the project and draw the trollface once again. It was redrawn at coordinates <code>1690,175</code> and the second attempt finished in an hour, but this achievement did not last long as a new challenge arose.

r/pMegu, a Reddit subreddit focused on recreating Megumin (one of the main characters from the anime series Konosuba)<ref>https://konosuba.fandom.com/wiki/Megumin</ref> on r/place canvas, decided to draw her next to the trollface. The initial plan provided for Megumin's staff to be drawn right to the coordinates where OKPR's artwork was located. Thus it followed a series of attacks from r/pMegu that OKPR members faced for several hours, until around 20:30 UTC when the latter gave up and the artwork was completely griefed.

As a result of this troubled situation, OKPR members tried to keep in touch with r/pMegu members, with some of the former joining the latter's server as diplomats. There were some long discussions with pMegu members that ended well due to the peaceful intentions of both communities, eventually leading to the formation of an alliance that lasted throughout the rest of the event. Following this agreement, on the third day, at about 9:30 UTC, the third attempt of drawing the trollface started with the support of pMegu members,<ref name="2022_atlas_89">https://2022.place-atlas.stefanocoding.me/#/89/1690/195/7</ref> being finished in less than an hour.

Netflix’s son was the first to announce the OKPR server via Mihailul about the event, thanks to the users from r/pMegu. And again they, along with Edward, encouraged the server to join them and to help recreating the well-known trollface.

==== Early attempt ====
The trio, along with Mihai3, RT and others, were waiting for the subreddit to open its canvas. Immediately as it opened, the users found a good spot for drawing the trollface, the first pixel being placed by Edward at coordinates <code>172;267</code>. RT helped organizing the members to ease the drawing by creating 2 channels for discussions regarding r/place, #place-general and #place-info. Meanwhile, the r/Romania Discord server members were aware about the event, but very unorganized and without a well-elaborated plan for drawing. Eventually they found the trollface and decided to draw a flag close to it.

40 minutes after the canvas opened, the Romanian trollface was griefed by r/Romania members who wanted to create the Romanian flag, and by strangers who just wanted to delay the progress. In order to keep in touch with the Romanian redditors, Edward created an additional Discord server called [[PlaceRO]], in order to unite them with OKPR members and thus to form an alliance, making the previous 2 channels on OKPR obsolete and archiving them. ==== PlaceRO ====
Unexpectedly, the server membership count grew at an exponential rate, bringing with it both Romanian and foreign members from tens of different comunities and subreddits involved in r/place. Some of the Romanian communities that helped were r/placeromania, the PixelRO Discord server, the IRaphahell fandom and r/Romania. The server focused on maintaining the Romanian flag and protecting the artworks of the allied communities, without it being easy for them. The server faced many challenges, such as the Brazilian and 'Fuck spez' assault of the first flag or Bratishkinoff griefing the second flag. The server also got much more popularity thanks to Romanian streamers like IRaphahell<ref name="live_rapha_1">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=24l5hz5fLT8 </ref> and Highman<ref name="live_highman">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CHxwgW8B-K8</ref>, although they weren't helping the PlaceRO's cause.

==== The return of the trollface ====
After many ups and downs, the OKPR's long awaited wish was granted, thanks to Edward and RT. At midnight on June 24, around 1:00 AM local time, it was announced that the Romanian trollface shall be the next artwork drawn on the flag, in order to secure the Romanian piece of canvas with more artworks. After half an hour, the already tired online members managed to recreate the OKPR symbol at the coordinates <code>-287,80</code>, which will stand mostly untouched for the rest of the event.

PixelPlanet.fun is a canvas website where you can build any pixel art you want. In May 2023, users of [[OkBuddyRetard|OkBuddyRetard 5]] and [[Awesome Planet]] began creating art on the server, and subsequently griefing each other.

[[Myszak]] began construction of the [[OkBuddyRetard]] icon at the coordinates <code>470, -350</code>, near the center of the map. He creates a group chat with other OkBR users to coordinate the project, including [[The]] and [[Cthulhu]], who are also active users on its rival server [[Awesome Planet]]. With the group's help, the icon was finished in about 7½ hours.

OkBR began expanding its domain on the map, creating the emoji wholesomedogewithbeans to the southwest of the OkBR icon, and then a [[Doctor Penez]] trollface to the east. The, with a lack of interest in building the face of Penez, builds the emoji obamacrying {{Obama crying}} to the west of the wholesomedogewithbeans. Sometime after Penez was completed, a small-scale version of the [[Irony Hub]] mascot, [[Sillytime]], was built southeast of the OkBR icon.

At 5:16 PM (GMT), The sends a screenshot to the group chat, showing that the Doctor Penez trollface had been extensively griefed. Additionally, the word “buddy” in the OkBuddyRetard icon had been changed to “butt”. Myszak quickly accuses The of being the culprit, despite aiding the construction of both of these projects. The suspects the creators of the nearby Pepe the Frog builds of doing it, due to 4chan’s bad relationship with Reddit. About an hour later, Penez was fully repaired, except for the text beside it. Instead of saying “DOCTOR PENEZ'', it now said “DOCTOR REDDITARD”.
Another hour later, Penez had been nearly completely browned. Myszak suspected the griefers of being either soyjak.party users or Awesome Planet users. While it was being repaired again, a few words appeared beside the face: “MYSZAK KYS AP ON TOP''. It was now confirmed that Awesome Planet users had been destroying OkBR’s builds. At 9:57 PM, Cthulhu posted a link to PixelPlanet to Awesome Planet, asking users to help turn Penez completely brown. A minute later, Myszak tells everyone in the group chat to help defend Penez. From here, a battle between OkBuddyRetard and Awesome Planet users ensued.
The gets royalparty to unban Myszak from Awesome Planet. He calls Cthulhu out as a traitor and then attempts to make peace talks, proposing the icon of Awesome Planet be built beside the OkBR icon. However, no one on AP who was on the site was interested in peace, and so the battle continued. Myszak ended up leaving less than an hour later, after The posts a picture of a soyjak variant, Cobson, pregnant with a black baby who is hanging himself with his umbilical cord.

==== May 16, 2023 ====

Sillytime is drawn over by a picture of Don Patchi from the anime Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo, with its remains completely destroyed. Meanwhile, Awesome Planet users succeeded in completely browning Doctor Penez, along with wholesomedogewithbeans and obamacrying. The OkBR icon now says “Ok RETARD”, and has been given an evil appearance. [[MinecraftKid]], [[King Jeor]], Cthulhu, [[r]], and [[Nizoani]] add their signatures above the OkBR icon.
The fully repairs obamacrying in about 40 minutes, and makes small repairs to the OkBR icon. He also adds his own signature. A few hours later, “MCKID WAS HERE”, “KING JEOR WAS HERE” and “NIZOANI WAS HERE” were removed. King Jeor builds his avatar below the crown he built. By then, the OkBR logo was fully rebuilt. This is the last time the OkBR icon would be fully intact.

The OkBR icon suffered massive damage, with its outer ring now reading “SUCK JEWS”. The adds Tony Tony Chopper’s top hat atop his signature.

Further damage is done to the OkBR icon. Myszak’s botted Sillytime rule 34 image is found at the coordinates 2783, 14935 and posted to Awesome Planet. The makes a repair attempt on the OkBR icon, making decent progress before being countered and eventually giving up.

Afterwards, he starts constructing the icon of [[The Big Server]] northwest of the OkBR icon.

==== May 19, 2023 ====
The Sillytime rule 34 is completely wiped. By this point, more than half of the OkBR icon has been destroyed, as pretty much everyone had given up on repairing it.

==== May 20, 2023 ====
A large amount brown pixels on obamacrying were turned white. Then, after The and some friends fix it, it gets whited even further, so The gives up on it. By this point, Doctor Penez has been turned into the shape of a diamond with a cartoonish face, in a state unrecognizable from what it once was.

In the meantime, The finishes the TBS icon with the help of a few others.

==== May 24-26, 2023 ====

The Awesome Planet icon is completely wiped off the map by an unknown OkBR user. Significant griefing attempts to the signatures of r, Cthulhu, King Jeor and The also occurred, with r’s being almost entirely destroyed at one point.

A miniature icon of OkBR and Awesome Planet appear, with a heart in between the two. The area had become stable by this point.

In Mid-July, after several griefs over 2 months, The decided to give up on defending the TBS icon after [[Salem]] showed him that it was over halfway destroyed. Soon after, the rest of it was completely wiped off the map.

On August 9, at around midnight, [[RomanianMemer]] recreated the [[The r/place Romanian Trollface|Romanian trollface]] near the lands controlled by Romania at the coordinates <code>5310, -9400</code>. It was griefed many times either by Russians or bystanders.

On the 21st of October, the user King Jeor noticed that substantial damage had been done to the many small builds. A larger build had been placed on top, and some, such as Polk's monument, were destroyed entirely. Some builds were able to be moved, but it is still a work in progress.

On August 6, 2020, QuiXotiC (also known as Alex) created the subreddit [https://www.reddit.com/r/okprietenretardat r/okprietenretardat], the Romanian equivalent of [[OkBuddyRetard (subreddit)|r/okbuddyretard]]. Being one of the first Romanian ironic memes communities, it was intended to be a hub for shitposting and sharing ironic/post-ironic memes, which also include topics from Romanian society and culture. Thus, it became a rule of thumb to post and share Romanian-themed shitposts.


As the years passed by, there were a plenty of events that occured during OKPR v1 and v2. Unfortunately most of them were forgotten or undocumented, as archiving the server's history was not the community's goal back then, and most of the older, more active members of those servers are less active nowadays or have left OKPR or Discord altogether.

== OKPR v1 (November, 2020 - May 15th, 2021) ==

Founded during November 2020, OKPR v1 was the first edition of the server, and gave the subreddit's community a chance to connect with eachother. Originally, it was created by another person while the subreddit had 900 members, with the purpose of celebrating the next milestone of one thousand Reddit members. QuiXotiC was invited, and server ownership was transferred to him. Messages on Reddit related to v1's creation are all deleted, so, presently, the original server creator and v1's exact creation date are unknown.

On May 15th, a member of OKPR, HMK, known as HomemadeKetchup, started spamming gore images and scat images around the server, causing it to get permanently deleted.

=== Involvement in r/place ===

On April Fools' Day 2022, Reddit decided to reinstate the [https://www.reddit.com/r/place/ r/place] experiment, which lasted for four days, including two expansions of the canvas to allow for more space.


Since the project began, OKPR members wanted to leave their mark on canvas by drawing their well-known symbol, the Romanian trollface, with little progress. After the first canvas expension, the drawing of the trollface started. Soon, the members of [https://www.reddit.com/r/pMegu/ r/pMegu] subreddit began to draw Megumin, a character from the anime series Konosuba, very close to trollface. Initially girefing the drawing and slowing OKPR progress, the r/pMegu's Discord server users reached OKPR members and eventually formed an alliance, which helped both communities to cooperate and remain on the canvas until the very end.


=== Deletion ===
On August 27, 2022, one of the most infamous OKPR members, PieSamuray, started posting on #bucuresti-general about leaked conversations and faces of Alex and his cousin, by asking her to "send nudes", creating huge conflicts and impact around the server.
Alex, being panicked, had no other choice but to delete the server, marking the death of v2.

== OKPR v3 (August 27, 2022 - present) == 


=== Creation of v3 ===
After the founding of v3, Alex retired from ownership. Delu created another server, "making" him the new owner. PieSamuray also joined, but after another attempt of trying to spam in #bucuresti-general, he was caught by the staff and banned permanently. Since then, the staff have made the new server a bit more organized.


=== OrthoSB's banwave/purge of 50+ members ===
OrthoSB believed the server was unsafe from people of WAGTHRO and random alternate accounts. He stalked and monitored every member and their every move. His senses of unsafety activated, and so on September 23, 2022 he banned more than 50+ inactive members. The purge was noticed by the rest of the staff and OrthoSB stated that it was the right decision for him. The members who've been caught in the banwave are still banned to this day.


=== HMK and PieSamuray's raid ===
HMK and PieSamuray's raid was a little event, organized by two good old members, bypassing the bans with VPNs and spamming some more of Alex's doxxing. The attack was noticed and resolved by [[MTL]], who banned both of them and purged the doxx rampage.


=== Deletion of the first #bucuresti-general and Chris' deletion ===
On November 11th, 2022, a member of the staff, Chris P. Bacon, deleted the first #bucuresti-general and kicked Relu and Balgoacă, stating that it was 'funny'.


Some staff members, especially Relu, were against it. Chris P. Bacon, when asked for an explanation, stated that his act was a "last trolling moment and a goodbye". Immediately, Chris P. Bacon left the server, and deleted his Discord account.


=== Liga Mulatra and creation of OKPR v3.5===

Since the spring of 2023, several members were dissatisfied with the state of the server, as some found that it no longer has the charm and sense of humor it used to have. This wave had peaked along with the dramas that occurred in mid-July, the most important one being the infamous gagaunci controversy and his possession of child pornography.


This led to the formation of a group called [[Liga Mulatră|Liga Mulatra]], in which some staff members along with some active users joined forces in order to pressure Delu to give up his ownership of the server, as well as banning gagaunci and establishing a new leadership. Their actions were mostly successful, some of their requests being fulfilled and leading to [[RomanianMemer]] becoming the new owner.


=== Partnership with OkBuddyRetard ===
On June 25, [[Myszak]], the owner of [[OkBuddyRetard 5]], joined OKPR with the intention of forming a partnership with us and to join the cause of archiving the server's history and image along with other [[Irony Server|irony servers]] on this wiki. Later, on June 29, the discussions led to the official partnership, bringing with it new members from OKBR and a chance to tell the story of our server to the world.


=== Second involvement in r/place ===

On July 20, 2023, Reddit reinstated the third edition of the r/place experiment, during which OKPR members tried to recreate once again the Romanian trollface and started drawing it since the very first moments of the canvas. Right before being finished, it was griefed mostly by r/Romania redditors, who just drew the Romanian flag over the trollface. In the end, the project to paint the well-known symbol onto the canvas was abandoned.


Meanwhile, a new Discord server was created by Edward and RT, called [[PlaceRO]], in order to negotiate and cooperate with [https://www.reddit.com/r/Romania/ r/Romania] members regarding the Romanian corner of r/place. Unexpectedly, the server became in a very short time the main hub from where the strings were pulled to recreate and protect the Romanian flag, atracting a huge number of members. Thanks to the 2 admins of PlaceRO, at midnight on July 24, the trollface was redrawn and remained untouched until the end of the event.


=== OKPR gamble and eepy's banning ===

On August 9, RT decided to initiate a little gambling game in which those who participate would have to react with a black or white square emoji until midnight, with those choosing the correct square getting 3.000 xp for user level, while those choosing the wrong one getting an one-day timeout. The black square choosers were the winners, while the white square ones got the timeout. This trend continued for several days.

OKPR v3 server had its first birthday on August 27, 2023, which came with many events. RT started the 7th (and the biggest so far) gamble of the server, with the prize being 60.000 xp for those who win and a 2 weeks timeout for those who lose, bringing in many contestants.


During afternoon, at around 2:00 PM, some members got a picture of [[chartech]]'s face reveal posted 2 months ago by herself on server. This discovery generated a lot of attraction, many users creating a plenty of memes with chartech's face and mocking her.

One of the OKPR members, strix_y, jokingly suggested on September 18, 2023 to change the server's channels text font with a more quirky one. This joke was taken seriously by RT and on the next day, the channels got a new look. This prank was short-lived and the changes were reverted a few minutes later. On September 6, 2023, Gelujak used a bot command by sending the message ".img penis cu legume", which the bot gave an image of a piece of chicken meat with a penis shape. The image greatly got attraction and many users started posting it, until RT noticed the spam and began to delete the messages.


A few weeks later, on September 27, a server was made in order to stop censoring the usage of the penis image. 2 days later the server members plotted a spam on #bucurești-general which lasted a few minutes. Following this, a new channel #dan-caragea-fan-club was added to the server, specifically made to hold the above-mentioned images.

On 21st of October, 2023, bogdan started to DM admins and other members questioning them about their opinion regarding Canistra's behaviour because he felt that Canistra brings the overall quality of the server down, and is being targeted with insults. After gathering responses in DMs he began discussing the matter in public on the #bucuresti-general channel in order to make everyone aware of the situation.


Bogdan, together with his oraganized group of individuals who felt the same way, began spamming images with text telling people to go against degeneracy and to protect the integrity of the sever, referencing chartech's incident. Eventually, the spam stopped and every member who felt harassed at all by anyone else has brought their concerns to the table. Proposals to ban Canistra or not ban him and lift Bologaca's ban were made by members. Additionally, in this time, Edward mentioned MTL's similarity in behaviour to Canistra and since MTL was an admin Edward proposed his demotion.

In order to keep in touch with each other, he returned to his old Discord account, changing the username to the current one, and joined along with his colleagues on a server created by Razvan5576, a friend from the same classroom. Later on, he spent more and more time on Discord, joining and leaving different servers.

On March 2021, while watching some memes, Razvan5576 found the OkPrietenRetardat subreddit filled with Romanian-themed shitposts and joined its Discord server. Extremely amused by the server's retarded mood, he convinced Mihailul to also join the server, a move that changed his life.

RomanianMemer: adding clarification about the scarce timeline

On August 6th, 2020, QuiXotiC (also known as Alex) created the subreddit [https://www.reddit.com/r/okprietenretardat r/okprietenretardat], the Romanian equivalent of r/okbuddyretard. Being one of the first Romanian ironic memes communities, it was intended to be a hub for shitposting and sharing ironic/post-ironic memes, which also include topics from Romanian society and culture. Thus, it became a rule of thumb to post and share Romanian-themed shitposts.

As the years passed by, there were a plenty of events that occured during OKPR v1 and v2. Unfortunately most of them were forgotten or undocumented, as archiving the server's history was not the community's goal back then, and most of the older, more active members of those servers are less active nowadays or have left OKPR or Discord altogether.

== OKPR v1 (November, 2020 - May 15th, 2021) ==

Founded during November 2020, OKPR v1 was the first edition of the server, and gave the subreddit's community a chance to connect with eachother. Originally, it was created by another person while the subreddit had 900 members, with the purpose of celebrating the next milestone of one thousand Reddit members. QuiXotiC was invited, and server ownership was transferred to him. Messages on Reddit related to v1's creation are all deleted, so, presently, the original server creator and v1's exact creation date are unknown.

On May 15th, a member of OKPR, HMK, known as HomemadeKetchup, started spamming gore images and scat images around the server, causing it to get permanently deleted.

=== Involvement in r/place ===

On April Fools' Day 2022, Reddit decided to reinstate the [https://www.reddit.com/r/place/ r/place] experiment, which lasted for four days, including two expansions of the canvas to allow for more space.

Since the project began, OKPR members wanted to leave their mark on canvas by drawing their well-known symbol, the Romanian trollface, with little progress. After the first canvas expension, the drawing of the trollface started. Soon, the members of [https://www.reddit.com/r/pMegu/ r/pMegu] subreddit began to draw Megumin, a character from the anime series Konosuba, very close to trollface. Initially girefing the drawing and slowing OKPR progress, the r/pMegu's Discord server users reached OKPR members and eventually formed an alliance, which helped both communities to cooperate and remain on the canvas until the very end.

=== Deletion ===
On August 27, 2022, one of the most infamous OKPR members, PieSamuray, started posting on #bucuresti-general about leaked conversations and faces of Alex and his cousin, by asking her to "send nudes", creating huge conflicts and impact around the server.
Alex, being panicked, had no other choice but to delete the server, marking the death of v2.

== OKPR v3 (August 27, 2022 - present) ==

=== Creation of v3 ===
After the founding of v3, Alex retired from ownership. Delu created another server, "making" him the new owner. PieSamuray also joined, but after another attempt of trying to spam in #bucuresti-general, he was caught by the staff and banned permanently. Since then, the staff have made the new server a bit more organized.

=== OrthoSB's banwave/purge of 50+ members ===
OrthoSB believed the server was unsafe from people of WAGTHRO and random alternate accounts. He stalked and monitored every member and their every move. His senses of unsafety activated, and so on September 23, 2022 he banned more than 50+ inactive members. The purge was noticed by the rest of the staff and OrthoSB stated that it was the right decision for him. The members who've been caught in the banwave are still banned to this day.

=== HMK and PieSamuray's raid ===
HMK and PieSamuray's raid was a little event, organized by two good old members, bypassing the bans with VPNs and spamming some more of Alex's doxxing. The attack was noticed and resolved by [[MTL]], who banned both of them and purged the doxx rampage.

=== Deletion of the first #bucuresti-general and Chris' deletion ===
On November 11th, 2022, a member of the staff, Chris P. Bacon, deleted the first #bucuresti-general and kicked Relu and Balgoacă, stating that it was 'funny'.

Some staff members, especially Relu, were against it. Chris P. Bacon, when asked for an explanation, stated that his act was a "last trolling moment and a goodbye". Immediately, Chris P. Bacon left the server, and deleted his Discord account.

=== Liga Mulatra and creation of OKPR v3.5===

Since the spring of 2023, several members were dissatisfied with the state of the server, as some found that it no longer has the charm and sense of humor it used to have. This wave had peaked along with the dramas that occurred in mid-July, the most important one being the infamous gagaunci controversy and his possession of child pornography.

This led to the formation of a group called [[Liga Mulatră|Liga Mulatra]], in which some staff members along with some active users joined forces in order to pressure Delu to give up his ownership of the server, as well as banning gagaunci and establishing a new leadership. Their actions were mostly successful, some of their requests being fulfilled and leading to [[RomanianMemer]] becoming the new owner.

=== Partnership with OkBuddyRetard ===
On June 25, [[Myszak]], the owner of [[OkBuddyRetard]] current Discord server, joined OKPR with the intention of forming a partnership with us and to join the cause of archiving the server's history and image along with other [[Irony Server|irony servers]] on this wiki. Later, on June 29, the discussions led to the official partnership, bringing with it new members from OKBR and a chance to tell the story of our server to the world.

=== Second involvement in r/place ===

On July 20, 2023, Reddit reinstated the third edition of the r/place experiment, during which OKPR members tried to recreate once again the Romanian trollface and started drawing it since the very first moments of the canvas. Right before being finished, it was griefed mostly by r/Romania redditors, who just drew the Romanian flag over the trollface. In the end, the project to paint the well-known symbol onto the canvas was abandoned.

Meanwhile, a new Discord server was created by Edward and RT, called [[PlaceRO]], in order to negotiate and cooperate with [https://www.reddit.com/r/Romania/ r/Romania] members regarding the Romanian corner of r/place. Unexpectedly, the server became in a very short time the main hub from where the strings were pulled to recreate and protect the Romanian flag, atracting a huge number of members. Thanks to the 2 admins of PlaceRO, at midnight on July 24, the trollface was redrawn and remained untouched until the end of the event.

=== OKPR gamble and eepy's banning ===
On August 9, RT decided to initiate a little gambling game in which those who participate would have to react with a black or white square emoji until midnight, with those choosing the correct square getting 3.000 xp for user level, while those choosing the wrong one getting an one-day timeout. The black square choosers were the winners, while the white square ones got the timeout. This trend continued for several days.

Also at midnight, one of the infamous members of the server, [[baldgokugaming83|eepy]] (also known as Balgoacă or Balgocu) got banned, this particular event being awaited by most of the server.

=== First server's birthday ===
OKPR v3 server had its first birthday on August 27, 2023, which came with many events. RT started the 7th (and the biggest so far) gamble of the server, with the prize being 60.000 xp for those who win and a 2 weeks timeout for those who lose, bringing in many contestants.

During afternoon, at around 2:00 PM, some members got a picture of [[chartech]]'s face reveal posted 2 months ago by herself on server. This discovery generated a lot of attraction, many users creating a plenty of memes with chartech's face and mocking her.

=== RT's channels text font prank ===
One of the OKPR members, strix_y, jokingly suggested on September 18, 2023 to change the server's channels text font with a more quirky one. This joke was taken seriously by RT and on the next day, the channels got a new look. This prank was short-lived and the changes were reverted a few minutes later. A [[🌟𝓞𝓚𝓟𝓡✨|server]] was made in order to preserve this change of look.
=== Penis cu legume ===

On September 6, 2023, Gelujak used a bot command by sending the message ".img penis cu legume", which the bot gave an image of a piece of chicken meat with a penis shape. The image greatly got attraction and many users started posting it, until RT noticed the spam and began to delete the messages.

A few weeks later, on September 27, a server was made in order to stop censoring the usage of the penis image. 2 days later the server members plotted a spam on #bucurești-general which lasted a few minutes. Following this, a new channel #dan-caragea-fan-club was added to the server, specifically made to hold the above-mentioned images.

=== Canistra's microaggression controversy ===
On 21st of October, 2023, bogdan started to DM admins and other members questioning them about their opinion regarding Canistra's behaviour because he felt that Canistra brings the overall quality of the server down, and is being targeted with insults. After gathering responses in DMs he began discussing the matter in public on the #bucuresti-general channel in order to make everyone aware of the situation.

Bogdan, together with his oraganized group of individuals who felt the same way, began spamming images with text telling people to go against degeneracy and to protect the integrity of the sever, referencing chartech's incident. Eventually, the spam stopped and every member who felt harassed at all by anyone else has brought their concerns to the table. Proposals to ban Canistra or not ban him and lift Bologaca's ban were made by members. Additionally, in this time, Edward mentioned MTL's similarity in behaviour to Canistra and since MTL was an admin Edward proposed his demotion.

The next day, two polls<ref>{{Cite message|author=bobubitul|date=October 23, 2023|content=Salutări dragi retardați! === The leaving of Mihailul the owner ===
On the 1st of November, RomanianMemer, the current owner at the time, released an announcement saying that he was leaving because he did not have enough time to stay in the position. A translation of the announcement is as follows:<blockquote>@everyone

Following the COVID-19 pandemic, Mihailul and his highschool colleagues entered in an online school system, as many countries were adopting at that moment. In order to keep in touch with each other, he returned to his old Discord account, changing the username to the current one, and joined along with his colleagues on a server created by Razvan5576, a friend from the same classroom. Later on, he spent more and more time on Discord, joining and leaving different servers.

On March 2021, while watching some memes, Razvan5576 found the OkPrietenRetardat subreddit filled with Romanian-themed shitposts and joined its Discord server. Extremely amused by the server's retarded mood, he convinced Mihailul to also join the server, a move that changed his life.

== OKPR history ==
=== OKPR v1 ===
Somewhere around the middle of March 2021 (between 11th and 15th), RomanianMemer joined the first iteration of the OKPR Discord server, alongside Razvan5576. Surprised by the server's mood, he decided to stay there and embrace the community and its shitposts. In order to impress the people out there and feel more edgy, he usually greeted them in the mornings "in the name of the [[wikipedia:Iron_Guard|Legion of the Archangel Michael]]", a not-so-ok Romanian political group.

After a few weeks though, Mihailul was pretty much inactive, with a few messsages ever sent from April until the shutdown of the server on May 15, 2021. Noticing the disappearance of the OKPR server, Mihailul found out that another one was created, and so he joined it once again on May 16, and since then he has devoted much more time to the server.

=== OKPR v2 ===
After joining the new and shiny server, Mihailul found out that the last one was deleted thanks to one of the most infamous members, HomeMadeKetchup. Since then, he engaged more and more in server's activities and its community's shenanigans. He also carried on greeting the server in his edgy manner for a couple of months, eventually giving up.

In 2022, Mihailul was being more and more active, reaching the top of activity leaderboards and becoming one of the members with the most sent messages on server. It was during this time that he coined the catchphrase [[OkPrietenRetardat#Sunt_cu_mașina|"''sunt cu mașina''"]], which became a meme on its own. He was also granted the role of moderator by alex, the server owner at that time.

In the last days of the server, RomanianMemer was promoted to admin role, as alex trusted him and other staff members to calm down the already rioting community affected by different dramas. That didn't last long, as Mihailul abused the role and was contributing to the spread of chaos. Eventually, at around this time, PieSammuray did the infamous trolling which lead to the deletion of the server.

=== OKPR v3 ===
Following the blackmail incident from August 26, 2022, RomanianMemer kept going on, even though he was nervous about the drama. He joined the third version of the server created by Delu on the same day, immediately after the incident. Originally created as a backup server, it became the official OKPR Discord server. Mihailul was granted the admin role by Delu in order to help organize the server, and also as a gesture of being good friends.

As an admin, Mihailul was now constantly online on Discord, being active on the server every day and reaching the top once again. Here he also coined the phrase "''O nouă zi, un nou început''" (English translation, ''A new day, a new beginning'') that represented him.

==== The new owner of OKPR ====
On June 26, 2023, during the events of [[Liga Mulatră]], Delu gave the ownership of server to RomanianMemer, a gesture that shocked him. Following the news, he got into a long argument with Liga Mulatră's members who revolted against Delu, accepting in the end their deeds. He led the server during some uncertain times, the OKPR community experiencing both ups and downs. While some members got dissatisfied with the its status quo and many dramas arose, there were also many events in which both well-known and new members participated, and new memes were born.

At the midnight of November 1st, after over 4 months of him having the ownership of the server and after a brief discussion with the staff, RomanianMemer released an short announcement saying that he is giving up being the owner because he did not have enough time to stay in the position. The ownership was eventually given to Relu. Soon after the announcement, RomanianMemer and Razvan5576 left the server that was their home for so long.

=== Aftermath ===
Following the resigning, Mihailul got many responses from many OKPR members in private, most of them showing regret for him leaving the server. He stated that he'll come back after a few months to see how things have gone with another owner. And so he did.

As 2024 was close, Mihailul felt that he misses the beloved server. Eventually, he joined back on the New Year's Day, to the surprise of many. He felt that he should discuss with the staff, which now it got more members than before, about all the reasons why he left the server and the state of the server, as he felt dissatisfied about. After that Mihailul spent some time with the community, before leaving the server once again on January 4.

Following the resigning, Mihailul got many responses from many OKPR members in private, most of them showing regret for him leaving the server. He stated that he'll come back after a few months to see how things have gone with another owner. And so he did.

As 2024 was close, Mihailul felt that he misses the beloved server. Eventually, he joined back on the New Year's Day, to the surprise of many. He felt that he should discuss with the staff, which now it got more members than before, about all the reasons why he left the server and the state of the server, as he felt dissatisfied about. After that Mihailul spent some time with the community, not before leaving the server once again on January 4.

Thugposting was a trend in OKPR which involved posting NSFW content of black men (also known as thugs) in lewd poses, including media of DreamyBullXXX and Nude Barber, and deleting them after a few seconds if a moderator was around. Usually those materials were posted during midnight, in order to not be seen by a large audience, which instead made the trend become more and more recognizable.

Some members found thugposting funny, but some did not. After some time, some people were getting tired of the incessant thugs in general chat, and thought that it got 'unfunny and repetitive', instigating a conflict. Even some of the staff members such as OrthoSB, [[RomanianMemer|Mihailul]] and Razvan5576 thought it was beginning to get unfunny. Since then, OrthoSB made a decision, and added the rule that thugposting is now banned. Some members argued about this new rule, while others stated that it made the server a better place. Thugposting is still banned to this day.

Shortly after obtaining his driver license, Mihailul also adopted the joke and started using often on his Discord status, eventually helping popularizing it among OKPR's server members.

Basically, this phrase meant that the user who said it was currently driving, but the joke can also be used ironically by users who do not have a driving license.

The OKPR army started after Netflix's son wanted to see the smallest tank in the world. After finding a mini tank used by SWAT teams to breach buildings, he called it "Tancul OKPR", and made a post on the subreddit claiming that, if everyone paid 10 lei, OKPR could buy a tank. He continued finding goofy looking military equipment and claiming they are a part of the OKPR army. After a short amount of time many other users started doing the same thing. This trend continued until the deletion of v2.

"Toma Poponaru" is a very rough romanian translation of the nickname "Gay Tony", belonging to one of the main characters in Grand Theft Auto 4 - The Ballad of Gay Tony. The translation was coined as a joke by [[HeliasC]], while over at [[szailor]]'s house. Szailor then went ahead and changed his profile picture to Gay Tony's face and his username to "Toma Poponaru", and started spamming "Bună! Mă numesc Toma Poponaru" ("Hello! My name is Gay Tony") in OKPR's general channel. HeliasC, seeing this, jokingly called szailor out on stealing his meme in the chat, and similarly changed his name to Toma Poponaru. Several more users also changed their names, joining in on the meme. This meme started in December 2022 (on V3) and is still brought up.

The members [[olduser]] and [[potaie]] almost immediately started spam posting this message, with slight changes (i.e. maths instead of geography and a different name). More members caught up to it and eventually admin [[Szailor]] locked #bucuresti-general, to no avail as members just started spamming into a different channel. Over the next half an hour, the messages which were being spammed changed from the original "private lessons", to images from bots or supplied by the users themselves, messages saying that Szailor deserves to be owner and simply empty messages.

Almost all of the messages spammed were accompanied by the {{Role|ping inutil|#99aab5}} role mention, which is a role that anyone can grab and anyone can mention. At the time of the event occurrence, 109 members had this role.

Usually those materials were posted during midnight, in order to not be seen by a large audience, which instead made the trend become more and more recognizable.

Some members found thugposting funny, but some did not. After some time, some people were getting tired of the incessant thugs in general chat, and thought that it got 'unfunny and repetitive', instigating a conflict. Even some of the staff members such as OrthoSB, [[RomanianMemer|Mihailul]] and Razvan5576 thought it was beginning to get unfunny. Since then, OrthoSB made a decision, and added the rule that thugposting is now banned. Some members argued about this new rule, while others stated that it made the server a better place. Thugposting is still banned to this day.

Sometime in June of 2023, [[Szailor]] got the idea of creating a proper website for OKPR. After some discussion with Edward, he took action by creating a forum at okpr.rf.gd, using InfinityFree as the hosting provider. The forum used the [https://invisioncommunity.com/ IPB forum software]. However, the forum went unused and had to be shutdown due to InfinityFree's policy regarding inactive websites.

Following discussions with Razvan5576 about a more secure way for OKPR members to interact, and a pre-existing interest in creating his own community platform, [[Edward]] decided to purchase the more formal-sounding okpr.ro domain name and create the most comprehensive OKPR website.

Initially, it was a bare-bones HTML page, containing just the word "CACA!" followed by a "Privacy policy" stating that the IP address of the user is logged for "Anti-thought 1984 Romanian police and trolling". But, after 4 months of waiting and spamming and crying like an annoying retard, his dream car arrived, and, after assembling it, he started spamming pictures and making unfunny memes with it in #bucuresti-general.

===Thugposting in general===
Thugposting was a trend in OKPR which involved posting NSFW content of black men (also known as thugs) in lewd poses, including media of DreamyBullXXX and Nude Barber, and deleting them after a few seconds if a moderator was around. Usually those materials were posted during midnight, in order to not be seen by a large audience, which instead made the trend become more and more recognizable.

Some members found thugposting funny, but some did not. After some time, some people were getting tired of the incessant thugs in general chat, and thought that it got 'unfunny and repetitive', instigating a conflict. Even some of the staff members such as OrthoSB, [[RomanianMemer|Mihailul]] and Razvan5576 thought it was beginning to get unfunny. Since then, OrthoSB made a decision, and added the rule that thugposting is now banned. Some members argued about this new rule, while others stated that it made the server a better place. Thugposting is still banned to this day.

Relujak is an inside joke started by user Grug, which is based on one of the many profile pictures that Relu has possessed on his Discord account. This one in particular depicts one of the main characters from the video game Hotline Miami, Biker<ref>https://hotlinemiami.fandom.com/wiki/Biker</ref>, whose helmet is worn by a soyjak. The image encapsulates both Relu's (often ironic) suicidal tendencies, as he was frequently and jokingly saying on chat that he wants to kill himself, and also his passion for the Hotline Miami game series.

The joke originally started on the OKPR v2 server and was made by user Razvan5576, who had a driving license at the time (and still do). Shortly after obtaining his driver license, Mihailul also adopted the joke and started using often on his Discord status, eventually helping popularizing it among OKPR's server members.

Basically, this phrase meant that the user who said it was currently driving, but the joke can also be used ironically by users who do not have a driving license.

===OKPR army===
The OKPR army started after Netflix's son wanted to see the smallest tank in the world. After finding a mini tank used by SWAT teams to breach buildings, he called it "Tancul OKPR", and made a post on the subreddit claiming that, if everyone paid 10 lei, OKPR could buy a tank. He continued finding goofy looking military equipment and claiming they are a part of the OKPR army. After a short amount of time many other users started doing the same thing. This trend continued until the deletion of v2.

===Toma Poponaru===
"Toma Poponaru" is a very rough romanian translation of the nickname "Gay Tony", belonging to one of the main characters in Grand Theft Auto 4 - The Ballad of Gay Tony. The translation was coined as a joke by [[HeliasC]], while over at [[szailor]]'s house. Szailor then went ahead and changed his profile picture to Gay Tony's face and his username to "Toma Poponaru", and started spamming "Bună! Mă numesc Toma Poponaru" ("Hello! My name is Gay Tony") in OKPR's general channel. HeliasC, seeing this, jokingly called szailor out on stealing his meme in the chat, and similarly changed his name to Toma Poponaru. Several more users also changed their names, joining in on the meme. This meme started in December 2022 (on V3) and is still brought up.

The general chat got unlocked, and people continued to spam inside it. RomanianMemer mentioned @everyone, and more people joined in. The spamming lasted a total of ten minutes, and amassed over 500 messages of the "sunt negru coaie" image.

The spam continued on July 20, 2023 out of the blue on #bucurești-general and #polska-gurom-general, now with new memes and GIFs that contain the famous quote written by bogdan.<ref>https://youtu.be/nl-CRQvPPBA</ref>

Due to the comedic value many members found in the image, it has started to be rapidly appreciated by the community and accordingly nearly spam-posted across the server. This eventually led to server admin RT banning the posting of the image in any way and handing out timeouts to the disobeyers of this rule. The keyword ".img penis" was banned, but variations weren't considered, which led to the discovery of other similar images, like "penis cu paine" (penis with bread), likewise posted on Dan Caragea's blog.

Thugposting was a trend in OKPR which involved posting NSFW content of black men (also known as thugs) in lewd poses, including media of DreamyBullXXX and Nude Barber, and deleting them after a few seconds if a moderator was around. Usually those materials were posted during midnight, in order to not be seen by a large audience, which instead made the trend become more and more recognizable.

Some members found thugposting funny, but some did not. After some time, some people were getting tired of the incessant thugs in general chat, and thought that it got 'unfunny and repetitive', instigating a conflict. Even some of the staff members such as OrthoSB, [[RomanianMemer|Mihailul]] and Razvan5576 thought it was beginning to get unfunny. Since then, OrthoSB made a decision, and added the rule that thugposting is now banned. Some members argued about this new rule, while others stated that it made the server a better place. '''Liga Mulatră''' was an important stage in [[OkPrietenRetardat|OKPR]] v3’s history that occurred on June 26, 2023. The event, which was planned several days before it took place, led to the former owner, Delu, giving up ownership of the server, as well as establishing a new order among the staff members. This led to the creation of a new iteration of the server, informally called OKPR v3.5 (technically, it is the same Discord server as OKPR v3, but with new staff heads and rules).

It was caused by the dissatisfaction of several members regarding the state of the server, as well as due to the drama related to the possession of child pornography by gagaunci, a former admin. The group was founded by Gavrilean, one of the most prominent admins of the server and then-head admin, as a way to combat the decaying state of the server and purge any undesirable excesses. It also represents the group of members that share the name of the event in which they have participated.

The name “Liga Mulatră” (rough translation in English, ''The Mulatto League'') is a pun on the “Black League” faction from the Hearts of Iron 4 mod The New Order: Last Days of Europe.<ref>https://the-new-order-last-days-of-europe.fandom.com/wiki/Black_League</ref> In the same way that The Black League wanted to mobilize and militarize Russia for a final war against Germany, so did Gavrilean’s Liga Mulatră plan, as he stated:

==Background==
===Server status===
Since September 2022, shortly after OrthoSB’s purge, OKPR v3 server had a steady membership growth, eventually reaching 500 members on June 18, 2023 and bringing with them new ideas and trends. Despite this, there was a wave of dissatisfaction among some of the older members regarding the state of the v3 server, and also related dramas about some infamous Discord users, leading to what would be called “The Fall of OKPR”.

One of the reasons for this perception among users is due to the ban of thugposting. Thugposting was a trend on OKPR server that consisted of posting NSFW content of black men (also known as thugs) in lewd poses in chat and then quickly deleting them, while the mods and admins were not aware of those posts. Usually those materials were posted during midnight, in order to not be seen by a large audience. Because of the growing membership and because of the fear among the staff members of the server being reported by breaking the TOS rules, thugposting was banned by OrthoSB, some members being dissatisfied with this decision.

===Chartech controversy===

[[chartech|Chartech]] (also known as Chartech#4357) joined OKPR v3 server on April 13, 2023. Since the beginning, she received backlash from the majority of the server due to her retarded behavior and due to the fact that she identifies as a transgender girl.

On June 16, while partaking in her shenanigans, chartech posted in #bucurești-general a pornographic image that depicts two gay furry drawn characters. This act enraged most of the community, with many users addressing her with curse words or proposing that she should be banned. Eventually, hysteria erupted and persisted for a few days until June 20, as most users couldn't accept her presence, and therefore some measures were needed. Thus, [[RomanianMemer]] temporarily blocked #bucurești-general to stop spamming, and Gavrilean created 2 new additional rules in order to prevent exaggerated hate speech towards specific members. Sometime after her ban, she has tried to re-join the server with a account called "pleb" (?) however, it was quickly banned. Following the unban of one of his ex best friends, people have started to revolt even more against him, this time in the form on GIFs. Most notably, a picture along with the caption that says: "ți-am trimis poză cu pula, te rog sa răspunzi" (''I have sent you a picture with my penis, please answer)''

===Spam from 14yos kids===

Around the end of May and the start of June, various new members began to join, most of them invited by Fledger. Unacquainted with server culture and seemingly immature, they began filling the chat with nonsense and kindergarten-level jokes, adding fuel to the fire and lowering discussion quality overall. Many well-known server members, such as drr04 (also known as Gelu) and Grug, expressed their disapproval and general dislike towards the newbies, with some of them even planning to leave the server.

The straw that broke the camel’s back had proven to be Fledger’s constant spew of unfunny OKPR inside jokes on ZappyTV’s server, making an ass of himself to people who couldn’t understand what he was talking about. One of the cringiest moments was when he made one of his “jokes” to a girl venting about hating her parents and contemplating suicide.

===Gagaunci controversy===
Shortly after the chartech drama seemed to be solved, another one appeared, and this time with more serious repercussions for the fate of the server.

On June 21st, at around 12:30 AM, Relu notified the server that another admin, gagaunci, sent him a video labeled as child pornography out of the blue, and, at that time, there was barely anyone active on the chat. The video consisted of a naked young child openly exposing his genitalia and buttocks to the camera. One of the few people active at the time was Gavrilean and, seeing that message, privately asked Relu about what had happened. At first, Gavrilean wanted to keep this incident hidden from the server so as to not cause any chaos, but, after a few hours, he began asking himself if it's worth keeping him on the server as if nothing had happened. Also, Gavrilean has had a long history of going apeshit whenever child porn was involved, openly expressing his disgust and hatred for people who hand out such material as if they were mere memes or jokes. So, he devised a plot to “accidentally” post a screenshot of gagaunci admitting in his DMs to the wretched deed for everyone to see, and then, hopefully, get him out of the server.

==Timeline==
===Preparation===
This did not work, as, after a few hours, Delu immediately unbanned Gagaunci as if nothing had ever happened, much to the disgust of the server members. Disillusioned with the state of the server and with the fact that this degenerate behavior went unpunished despite the efforts to do so, Gavrilean and other like-minded server members banded together for the next five days and planned to launch a revolution and purge the server of the disgraced admin, one of the vilest members in the server's history and the spammy, annoying kiddies and “restore OKPR to its former glory”. The deadline for this history-changing event was the 26th of June, the date when Delu was supposed to be busy with exams and not be online.

Ironically, a day before, he decided to return from inactivity and remove Gavrilean from his tempowner/head admin position. This proved to be a hindrance to the Liga Mulatră, as a good chunk of their plan relied on the head admin position being the 2nd highest role on the server, which Gavrilean would use to silence any opposition within the staff and impose a new, fresh order. However, it was too late to abandon the plan, and they decided to go ahead with whatever they had at their disposal.

===Coup d’etat===
At 7 PM, on June 26, the coup went ahead with the creation of four channels: one which would be used to address the problems the server was facing, one with the objectives to be met, one in which “undesirables” would be publicly banned and scolded by Relu himself, and one in which Gavrilean would thank the Liga Mulatră members for their participation. Delu immediately lost his nerve and left the server, making Mihailul the new owner and contacting him via phone about his promotion, thus completely reshuffling the power dynamic.

Mihailul, confused about the changes that occurred, wanted some explanations. He was infuriated about how much the members who joined the coup were serious about the state of the server, a server which according to him, “was made just for fun”, and about the changes they made, wishing for the status quo ante to be brought back. Eventually, after a long argument lasting for hours between him and Gavrilean, Relu and [[MTL]], he relinquished his stance and accepted the deeds that Liga Mulatră had done.

It was later revealed that Gavrilean and his team wanted to went so far as to report gagaunci to the police, which luckily for the latter, this plan did not materialize.

==Legacy==
Two days after the Liga Mulatră Revolution, on the 28th, Gavrilean left OKPR to never return and deleted his account, citing the stress of being head admin and the effort he put into this ordeal as one of the main reasons.

The 5 objectives requested by Liga Mulatră were not fulfilled as Gavrilean desired. Although initially it was proposed to organize an election for the roles of owner and co-owner at the end of June, this event did not take place. Mihailul remained the owner, while OrthoSB (and after a few days, succeeded by Relu) were the co-owners.

Most of those who were “executed” were unbanned and reinvited, except for gagaunci and chartech, although the former would be unbanned for a short time on July 13 and then banned again, up until to this day. Later, on 27 July, Chartech released a statement about her actions on [[Radio_OKPR_Actualități|Radio OKPR Actualități]] server<ref>https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Cvm3TQQm8EFp0BUn8t6RDLprjGuTs2Hf9bAShsKbXH8/edit?usp=sharing</ref>, proving that her ban was justified. Fortunately, the newbies are nowadays much more mature and less prone to autistic outbursts.

One of the most vocal opponents of this movement was OrthoSB, who considered the revolution to be total nonsense and a waste of time. He argued that users should “touch the grass” and similar things, and also that freedom of speech should be the main principle enforced on the server, without complaining too much about what offensive and retarded things the others had to say. Witnessing the events that befell him, Ortho started to get involved less and less in the administrative tasks.

Even after the revolution, the overall state of the server didn't seem to improve as many expected. Following the coup, the membership count tended to fluctuate, dropping under 500 members twice, on the coup day and again on July 17. Nonetheless, the Liga Mulatră revolution, for better or for worse, left its mark on the server and gave it a whole new image.
